Do not go to Dubai in their summer, 40C temperatures and smog make it uncomfortable, poor visibility. If you are impressed by over the top, extravagant and glitzy architecture then Dubai is your ideal destination. Fortunately the Viator city tour does also show another side of the city away from the malls etc. 3 days there was plenty for us.

This was an excellent half-day tour which gave a good view of Dubai. Would recommend to other travellers.

Really informative, and managed to see a lot of Dubai in a short amount of time. Apart from the fact that the tour commenced over an hour and half late, I would definitely recommend it.

It was very worth while, especially for the first day of Dubai. Dubai is very big to go around by yourself.

The city tour is a great introduction to Dubai, as you get to see some of the most popular sights and also the tour guide gives you a lot of information about the city during the trip. Only problem I had was that the photo stops were all too short for me, but I am photo hobbyist so could have stayed for hours just taking pictures - so maybe I am the exception. I used this trip to learn about the city and hit the major tourist spots and then made follow up trips to the places I wanted to spend more time at or that we didn't hit at all.

There were a few problems getting participants to the start point because of traffic delays, but that wasn't the company's fault. We thus had a late start to the tour, but the itinerary was great and our guide went totally out of his way to be apologetic. He even organized an extra stop so we could use the bathroom and get water after our late start.

This tour gave a very good overall view of Dubai good if you only have a short stay there. The trip, which could have been slightly heavy going in the extreme heat, was made very interesting by the rep.

We went on a Friday, so luckily the traffic was a bit lighter. We really enjoyed the boat trip across the creek. What an experience! Our guide was very informative and helpful. Good value for money.

A good thing to do when you arrive. Helps you to get a feel for the Dubai of today and its history. The guide was a fun guy.
