A very informative introduction and a good way to get around Dubai. The commentary was a little difficult to follow at times due to wind. Quite hot as the bus is not air conditioned on the bottom deck and the top deck is fairly exposed to the elements.

Seemed to be a long wait between buses. Some buses have automated commentary like Europe - others which are older rely on a guide so hearing can be problem depending on location in bus. Older buses air conditioning not flash and believe me you need it. Was not impressed to discover if you bought ticket in Dubai got 48 hrs for cost of 24 hrs. Didn't apply to my ticket bought on net.

The staff were helpful and friendly, I had no complaints there. I just guess I was hoping for a bit more on the historical side of Dubai and less of the shopping malls. But then again, Dubai is the place for shops.

Hard to find stops to pick up bus, and the tour price should include the visit to the Jumeirah Mosque.

The big bus is a great way to get an overview of Dubai, but if you take both the red city and blue beach routes you really don't have time to hop on, hop off more than once or twice out of the 20 stops, and then time at a destination is likely to be short. Commentary using earphones is good.

Ok but not great. I had enough of shopping centres. I wish I had taken a private tour!

This is a great way to see the city and the beaches. The timetable is not accurate; its OK if it's late a bit, but when the bus leaves the stop few minutes earlier than scheduled, that's a problem, because the next one is another 30 or longer minutes later. When we were at the Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House, we had a quick visit and then rushed out to catch the bus, and realized the bus has already left the stop despite the fact that we arrived at the stop five minutes early. There wasn't anything else to do, and we couldn't get into the house again. So we waited for 45 minutes under the sun as the next bus was late. That was not a good experience. The matter got worse when the next bus driver yelled at us because we didn't waited at the predetermined stop. There was no clear sign where we should wait. If you are traveling alone, the bus is worthwhile, but if you are traveling in a group of two or more, it's probably cheaper to travel by taxi. It's also cooler in a taxi. Every second bus is not air-conditioned.
