What You Can Expect
Drive along the vast, 16-lane Sheikh Zayed Road, craning your neck to see the passing high rises. Admire Souk Madinat Jumeirah, an extravagant recreation of a traditional Arabian marketplace. Then, view the iconic Burj Al-Arab hotel. The building stands on an artificial island and soars to a height of 1,053 feet (321 meters), making it a must for your photo album.
Continue to Palm Jumeirah, the man-made island that is one of Dubai’s signature landmarks. Designed in the shape of a palm tree, the sandy archipelago is fringed with luxury villas and exclusive hotels. Pause at Atlantis The Palm hotel — arguably the island’s most famous building — that stands imperiously on the edge of the Persian Gulf.
Next, head to Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski resort to be built in the Middle East. View its giant ski runs through the glass exterior and learn how powerful snow guns renew the snow on the slopes every night, fresh for the next day. Afterward, stop at Burj Khalifa, one of the world’s highest buildings. Dwarfing Dubai’s skyline, this space-age tower stands at a remarkable 2,772 feet (828 meters). Lean back, peer upwards and you might just see the top!
Continue to Burj Khalifa Lake to see the Dubai Fountain Show. Stretching across the water, these performing fountains were designed by WET, the company behind the famous Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas. During a show, they put on a dazzling 5-minute display of theatrical sprays illuminated by 6,600 lights and lasers. Watch spellbound as the fountains dance, twist and shoot water high in the air in time to Arabic and classical music.
After the show, rejoin your coach or minivan and finish your tour with a hotel drop-off.

This tour was amazing!
Great way to see the new buildings all in.a short afternoon, nice and friendly guide.
This tour is value for money by orient tour. The tour guide is great. An drop off at the atlantis for 0.5 hour would be good. Air-con bus is comfortable and driver is on time and helpful. We also joined the private city tour on the 8th jul and the tour guide from sir lanka is excellent and kind.
Good view of some of the major sites. Visited the Mall of the Emirates to see Ski Dubai and the light fountain show. Guide was on time. Spoke clear English. Good tour for the money. I would recommend.
For a first time visitor, it was a great tour to get orientated and learn about this fascinating city. Our guide was very good and informative speaking in English and German.
Informative tour about the past and current developments in Dubai
The title is very misleading, there is no 'architectural' information provided at all. It should be called Mall Visits. Not what I wanted or expected. Very boring disappointing and a waste of my valuable time.
We were expecting an architecture based tour, with a guide who would inform us about who and how the main buildings were built in Dubai. Though our guide was lovely, he gave us a general tour of Dubai without any emphasis on architecture.
There was a mix up with coaches and a fair bit of confusion at the start: pick up taxi, dropped at a roundabout near a hotel, short mini bus ride, joined a big group on a bus then back to roundabout for first stop!
All in all, we got to see a lot of the city through bus windows as we sat in rush hour traffic a lot. Taking us to Ski Dubai for a quick photo next to the glass window inside the Mall with 22 others is not an architecture tour.
