Excellent morning, we got picked up at 6.45 which was a bit early but meant that we were back at our hotel for 1pm to enjoy the afternoon doing something else. The actual falconry display was very good and interactive and we also got a camel ride which we weren't expecting so was an added bonus. We had been advised not to do the evening desert trip because although the sunset was worth it the rest of the trip was disappointing so I am glad we did this trip instead, I would definitely recommend it.
You cannot miss this tour, such a pleasant and delightful experience. Made me really appreciate the desert and its changing colors. Didn't know there were sandfish Scincus scincus that pop out at the edges of dunes. Dune bashing kills them, so I've ruled out dune bashing.
The falcon trainer clearly loves her birds and is very sweet. The birds themselves falcons, owls, kestrels are beautiful and graceful, one kestrel delightfully did number one and two on me when it landed on my head, thank goodness I had a scarf on, however my shirt has been sacrificed to the Kestrel god.
It's really a great desert experience and looking back I think I would recommend doing the overnight tour so that you can look at the stars in a clear dark sky.
It was pretty nice to be pick up by G Mercedes wagon. My driver/ tour guide Baba was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The tour was interesting and enjoyable.
My guests tell me they had a brilliant time on this experience! I will definitely recommend it for anyone interested.
This tour was a great experience. The driver we had was fun and driving over the sand dunes was a lot of fun. Watching the Falconry was fascinating and the person who trained the birds and displayed them was knowledgeable and fun. I would have no hesitation recommending this tour
Fabulous day. We had a really fun driver (so sorry cant remember name, but will always remember the smile :-). He gave us somehelp with Arabic words on the way to the reserve. The falconry display was amazing and the little wildlife drive was great too, loved seeing the gazelles and oryx too.
This tour was amazing!!!! Our guide was one of the best tour guides answering all of our questions. This was the an opportunity of a lifetime to be able to touch an owl and have the pictures of a my husband with a falcon perched on his arm. Totally recommend.
The tour, guide, communication prior was all great, would not recommend the open top old land Rover anywhere near summer. The youngest among us was 5 and 67 was the oldest in a group of 6, And it was great for all.

Loved the tour. Denititely a luxury tour ran by Platinum Heritage Tour. Amazing cars both the Mercedes and Range Rover. The falconry experience was one of a kind. You get to learn about falconry tradition in Dubai passed by one generation to the next, get in close contact with arabian oryx and other animals, learn about the plants, bushes and trees that grow in the desert.
Last but not least.... our personal tour guide for 5 people only was amazing. Ibrahim was knowleadgeble, could answer all the questions, always shared a smile or joke, made one feel welcome and confortable.
Ibrahim was helpful and did more than one can expect from a tourguide.
I will definitely buy more tours with this company next time in Dubai.
We have just arrived back to our hotel from our Falconry Experience and Wildlife tour in Dubai.
Our tour guide Sharaf's knowledge of Dubai was only surpassed by his knowledge and passion for this desert area and it's creatures and fauna. What a wonderful first class experience.
We took the option to travel by an open 1950's Land Rover as we did not want anything between us and this magnificent scenery. It was just like in the old movies! Sharaf made us all comfortable with the option to wear face masked and goggles to keep the sand out of our eyes when driving through the sand dunes. In fact Sharaf could not have done anything more to make this trip such a memorable occasion for us.
The staff at the camp area where we enjoyed Erin's falconry show and munched on a great breakfast treat were amazing - the friendliest people on earth. The camel guides where so friendly too - big smiles. We cannot thank you enough for this trip.
It is and will be an experience we will never forget and will recommend to all our friends.

Really enjoyed our dubai falconry experience from start to finish! The guide was very helpful
This is a great morning tour. Our guide/driver was very excited to show off his home and wildlife park. The falconry demonstration was neat.
After a bunch of research, a lot of the other tours were consisting of larger groups of people and not enough personal attention. I found Platinum Heritage on Instagram and the pictures to me everything I needed to know and that this was the experience we had to book! Malek was amazing on 2/15/15!
Our Tour guide were very informative about our queries about Dubai. All the activities we enjoyed as well.
This was a great morning out and I thoroughly recommend the tour. Mohammad was a great tour guide and had an excellent knowledge of the area and Dubai's history. He was extremely friendly and always willing to take photos and have a laugh.
Excellent tour learning all about falcons, hawks and owls and being able to handle them. A true desert experience with sand dunes as far as the eye could see. Our guide Faisal was very informative and his English was flawless. The camel ride was also very interesting.
This tour was really fantastic! I was fortunate enough to have a guide to myself. He was from Portugal and was so informative and friendly. The length of the tour is just right and you get to experience a lot so bring your camera!

The trip was above expectations the guide hussain made us very welcome. His knowledge and humour made it a memorable occassion
This was a superb morning tour, the desert air was clean and fresh and everything was quiet and peaceful. A welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Dubai! The falconry display was very well presented and the birds were beautiful. Being able to handle the hawk was a rare treat, and she was calm enough to be stroked. The short camel ride was interesting! On the tour round the conservation area in the Landrover we saw 2 groups of oryx, and 2 species of gazelle. I would definitely do this tour again and I would certainly recommend it.
My tour guide was excellent; the falconry display very informative and interesting and the camel ride and desert trip great. Would highly recommend for those who are not quite brave enough for the dune bashing trip (like myself) but wanting a desert experience.
I was looking for adventures to have while my husband was working in Dubai. I wanted to see the desert but did not want a dune bashing experience, and I especially wanted to see the Desert Conservation area. This trip was perfect. I had all the fun of being a tourist with an Arabian head dress and photo by an old Land Rover with the active learning experience of handling two owls, a hawk, and a falcon. The extremely knowledgeable bird handler told me more about the birds in that hour than any of the wonderful Ranger hikes I have done in the U.S. It was a thrill to have the birds fly to our gloved hands and to be that close to them. I also enjoyed the experience of getting on a sitting camel and having the camel rise up, go for a little walk, and then to feel the clunk and jerk of the camel's natural movement as he sat back on the ground for me to dismount--really not for a person with a bad back because of that last jolt but otherwise easier than I thought it would be. We were off in a Bedouin camp setting that lent itself to fantasy, and I got some great photos of the camel handler and camels off on the dunes. Since there were 5 in the group and only 4 could go with one driver, I got my very own guide and driver who gave me many facts and insights into Dubai, its people, and animal and Bedouin life as he drove me out and back, gave me a personal tour out to the oryx and gazelles, and explained the Bedouin uses of the plants. I would highly recommend this experience if you want some fun but also are serious about learning about life on the desert.
It was excellent from start to finish and will probably be a highlight for mother who at 80 thought it was wonderful! She even rode the camel!!! Many thanks to Sharaf our guide who was excellent and the bird handler too! All good as well as pre- departure info etc. Very glad we chose to do this!!
This is a fabulous tour. The falconer and guide were great. Good history lesson.
Overall very well organized, worth the extra cost compared to other organisations.
Nice friendly staff.
Falconry demo done by a real professional, 3 different bird species, lots of explanation.
Short camel riding and longer Land Rover tour in beautiful desertic area.
Breakfast with typical local products.
Limited commercial pressure (only one proposal to buy pictures).
