Really enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Not sure lunch was that great or required - could have just had cool drinks and got back to Dubai earlier and not paid for a lunch, but maybe some people like the lunch option...!
I was luckily, the only one on my tour! It felt nice having a private guide for the day. We went to see Hatta Heritage Village which is a bit cheesy and touristy but it's free and you can see some cool stuff. Then afterwards, we went to the dam and got some nice mountain pictures and then you go see camel rock with soft dune bashing. Since it was just me, we tailored everything to what I wanted. We couldn't go see the lakes since that's in Oman and there's passport/security issues now. Lunch is very simple - a burger with just meat, apple, and small side of potato salad. It was tasty anyway. My guide was awesome and spoke English and we had a blast getting to know each other.
This was a really nice day out in the rugged mountains and lonely sand dunes. My guide, Jafar, did a great job four-wheeling over the dunes. He also did a nice job of explaining the sites at the Hatta Heritage Center. Really a fun trip!
If you are interested to see some beautiful places close to Oman and then drive in desert, I would recommended to take this trip.
The tour was great. We had a very good and very friendly driver who was fluent inEnglish and could answer all questions. The landscape was amazing in particular the desert. We had enough time at every spot and also entered the Oman for a short time.
The luch was very simple, never had a burger with bread and meat only before. However, I didn´t go there for lunch. Thus, a great tour.
Very professional driver always prompt to give informations and make the trip as good as possible.
We enjoyed this trip into the Hatta area and desert lunch. Our guide was professional but friendly, knew the area and history. Would recommend as a great day tour if you are staying in UAE
Good value for money 6 hour trip. Very good guide . Sand dunes excellent
Brilliant day. Our guide was excellent and good fun. The men especially enjoyed the ride through the sand dunes! Just note that you will need your Passport for this trip as you have to go over the boarder into Oman and back to get to the Heritage Village at Hatta.
I loved it. The guide was super informative and helped me take pictures since I traveled alone. He also showed us around Hatta when many other guides dropped their customers by the gate.
This was our best day in Dubai. If you are not a shop alchoholic! Really loved it and our guide was excellent. A very intelligent Indian man full of information and knowledge and provided a really good day. Even saw camels roaming and villages. Only issue lunch - not Arabic food but burgers! Would really recommend this day. My two teenagers loved it too.
We had a great day; marvellous views, a great driver/tour guide and a good lunch and drinks provided.
excellent from pick up to drop off. viator delivers everytime :) superb service, briliant trip,
We really enjoyed our time, still I feel I am there.
This was a very well-organized trip. Hotel pick up was on time, we had plenty of stops for photo ops and the lunch was plentiful and varied. Our driver was courteous and accommodating. Lots of fun!
The tour guide was very good and the trip was as advertised. The packed lunch was terrible....not edible.
Very enjoyable. Driver knowledgeable and polite. Good value.
Good tour, off the beaten track and gives you an experience of a different, non-commercial, side to the UAE. Guide was knowledgeable and good fun. Hatta was certainly interesting, and driving in the desert was fun. Overall I think this is a good experience if you are interested in the heritage of the area.
Tour guide Mustafa was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure our trip was successful - helping us to get the exact photos we wanted, "rounding up" some camels, etc. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
you get a good price pre booking well worth it and we were lucky as was the only two on the trip so had a personal chauffeur for the day realy great day out
Highlight a little bit more that you need re-entry visa. With some types of visas UAE border guards may not enable re-entry from Oman.
Profesional behaving of the driver/guide, kind and entertaining.
The Trip was nice but the Hatta pools we couldn't visit!
It´was a nice trip and a lot of fun. Good guides. Only minus was that we couldn't drive up in the mountains because the area was closed by the army. So it was a Hatta Heritage Village visit and a nice sand desert drive through and lunch picnic.
This was an interesting trip into scenic Hajar mountains by 4WD, got to do everything, except swim in the springer because locals were already there.
