Excellent. This tour is for people who want to know about Guinness's origin. Highly recommend!
This tour is first class. The storehouse tour is nice, but the Taste Experience is miles ahead of the other. You are brought into a very beautiful high end bar. From there you get a very interesting tour and taste of the Guinness product line. You learn about each one, and then you get to taste the products.
Our tour guide knew his products well and not only educated us on them, but the proper way to enjoy. We learned what it takes to pour a proper Guinness. With practical on hands training at the end.
This tour is well worth it.
Absolutely worth it! With a small group of 12 people, we were able to experience Guinness without the crowd. We tried 4 beers and got to pour ourselves the 'perfect pint'. Kevin was the best! Definitely recommend it.
Another couple was apparently scheduled to do this tour during the same slot as us, but they didn't show up so my husband and I ended up being the only attendees! The private bar area was dimly lit, but very picturesque with portraits of historically significant members of the Guinness brand family and dark oiled wood everywhere. Sadly, I have forgotten the name of the gentleman who did the presentation for us but in my defense, I did drink a rather sizable amount of Guinness that day. Regardless, he did a truly wonderful job! He was apparently the one who had originally helped setup the private bar area the tasting was held in so he had excellent behind the scenes stories and tidbits to share, on top of his extensive knowledge of the brand's history. We really enjoyed the experience and recommend it to any Guinness fans out there!
The Connoisseur Experience is excellent! The expert shared so much information and experience. We all felt included and involved, especially as he guided us in personally pouring our own Guinness.
There is more to this product than meets the eye, and this is the best way to discover it.
Great experience. The person who gave us the lecture on the history and types of Guinness was a true professional. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Everything was first-rate once we were directed to the proper tour. There was some confusion relative to where we should meet for the tour. The tour/tasting was outstanding with special care given to persons on this tour. Would recommend this particular tour to anyone who wants to really get a feel for the beer and the process used to make the product.
Excellent. Highly recommended but only if true dark beer lover. This session has a lot of dark beer tasting.
A private setting in the MOST exclusive bar in the world (only opened 15 months)!! A maximum of 3 settings per day, 12 persons per day!! PLENTY of Guinness to consume! If you are or want to be a connoisseur of Guinness, THIS is the ONLY tour for you! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
An absolute must for beer lovers! I'm now a big Guinness fan thanks to our private tasting experience at the Guinness Storehouse. We loved the intimate, old-time atmosphere of the private bar room, and our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. Get ready for lots of beer tastings!
We had a private session. Beth was very knowledgable and friendly. Great tour
My wife and I were the only 2 people on this tour and our guide (forgot her name, but she was originally from Canada) was extremely knowledgeable. She was a diehard Guinness fan. The private bar was a cool and the beers were delicious. A must do for any Guinness fan.
A bit pricey but worth it. We got 2 full bottles, tried 4 beers total from the connoisseur bar as well as a little cook book. Plus a beer in the sky bar or pour tour own (your choice as it is for all admissions). Learned a little bit more than the first time we went to the storehouse. Very fun!!
