Greet your professional guide at a central Dublin location and climb aboard a luxury, air-conditioned coach destined for County Kildare. Gaze at striking panoramas of the gorgeous Irish countryside, typified by rolling green hills, and listen to illuminating commentary from your knowledgeable guide.

After passing through picturesque areas like County Tipperary and County Kildare, arrive at the ancient fortress of Blarney Castle, famed for one of Ireland’s best-loved treasures, the Blarney stone. Ascend to the castle’s vertiginous tower to kiss the Blarney stone and receive, according to legend, the skill of speaking in a charming and eloquent manner.

Travel onward to Cork City to enjoy some leisurely free time exploring the quaint and quintessential city center. Revitalize with a delicious lunch at the English market (own expense) and visit the triple-spired St Finn Bar’s Cathedral to admire the colossal sacred structure.

Return to your luxury vehicle after thorough exploration and relax during the journey to the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. Hear of the legends that surround the imposing twin towers of the colossal cathedral and take an informative guided tour of the structure’s Hall of Vicars and Cormac’s Chapel, home to the oldest Romanesque wall painting in Ireland.

Return to the coach for the journey back to Dublin, where the tour concludes.

This trip began early in the morning when we boarded a bus in Dublin. Along the long stretches of driving, our guide played videos of recent Irish history beginning in the 1960s. This was interesting and gave us a feel for the Irish culture and mindset and made the bus ride more enjoyable. We made stops for breakfast and restrooms. Our guide informed us that a cruise ship was docked in Cork that day, so we made a slight adjustment to the itinerary in an attempt to avoid the crowds. It worked! We first stopped at the Rock of Cashel, which we basically had to ourselves. We walked in and around the cathedral ruins. The wind was howling, and it was cold and damp, but it only added to the atmosphere! We tried to imagine living here, and defending it from Viking invaders. Next stop was the Blarney Castle and Stone, which we also had to ourselves. Again, climbing the ancient stone staircases and walking around the castle rooms, we tried to envision living here. At the top of the Castle, we both kissed the Blarney Stone, which seems scarier than it is! We could have spent all day here, wandering the gardens and touring the woolen mill and shop, but it was time to move on. From here we headed for Cork where we had a short stop for dinner. Our tour guide was friendly and informative, answering everyone's questions and offering suggestions. When he didn't know the answer to a question, he was on the phone to the office to find the answer! Overall, I would highly recommend this tour!

Had a wonderful time on the tour. Jennifer was informative and entertaining, how often do you get a tour guide who is actually an archeologist, and we had a very impressive driver in John. A relaxing day full of wonderful Irish music.
Thank you

Would have liked to spend a little more time in Cork, but it was enough to find a pub and have some lunch and a pint. Then we went to Blarney Castle, walked the grounds which were gorgeous, and kissed the Blarney Stone! Lots of stairs, but well worth it!

Great tour, just not enough time in the shops or to explore the grounds.

My husband and I did three of the Irish Day Tours and cannot say enough great things! The guides are professional, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Pickup and drop off happened to be right by our hotel which we loved. Lots of bathroom breaks along the way as there are no bathrooms on the bus.

Cliffs of Mohr tour- Sarah was our guide and driver and was phenomenal. This was our first tour of our whole trip and a great way to kickoff. She is super accommodating, hilarious, and knows her stuff! Great tour and plenty of time in each spot.

Connemara- A great trip out west with James and Derrick. Beautiful land and we fell in love with Galway. Our only criticism is that we only had an hour and would have loved more time there to explore.

Blarney-Jen and Larry were great and pleasant. Was surprised at how beautiful the blarney grounds were given the tourist trap it's been called. Also visited Cork which was nice.

Great tour company to work with! You get to see a lot and will not be disappointed.
