This was by far the best day trip I took in Ireland. It is the only day trip from Dublin that will take you to see Loughcrew's Celtic Tombs. The neolithic art makes it well worth it. And how could I forget the great guide we had. He was well educated in Irish history and had a great sense of humor. I will definitely take this tour again the next time I go to Ireland.

Great line-up of places. You see A LOT of history and it's nice that it's a small van instead of a tour bus.

Our guide James did an excellent job in spite of the off-and-on rain--didn't skip a thing and shared the damp with us, leading us where we needed to be and checking with each member of our group at stopping places to see how we were doing. The sites were just the kind of places we wanted to see, spending enough, but not too much, time, and we never felt rushed.

We were delighted by this trip. We had a safe driver, an excellent guide - and a very good singer! The itinerary was interesting and varied.

Lots of fun!! Next time I'll have hiking boots to make it easier and when it's warm.

First of all, I am thrilled that I got to go on this tour. Walking to the pick-up site, I got totally lost, but was re-booked the next day. Our guide Dave was a lovely man, very well-informed, concerned about our comfort, and a great storyteller. The highlight was the Loughcrew Celtic tombs.

Overall the tour was good and there were a lot of interesting bits of history to learn of each sight. However, there were a few hiccups on the day, with Slane Castle closed to the public due to a function and the guide unable to secure the keys to the inside of the largest passageway tomb from a local business.

A very comprehensive trip - without too much travelling. All the destinations were pretty close to Dublin, which meant we were not sitting in the coach on motorways for long periods of time. We visited a lot of fascinating historical places. The driver was very knowledgeable.

This tour was great and well worth the money. We saw so much. It was a great tour to get us out of Dublin and into the Irish country side. The day was jam packed with many little stops. The guide gave us the freedom to explore the locations but there was also lots of information given. We had our own bus and a small group of great people. If you're looking for a good day trip out of Dublin, I would definitely recommend this.

We really enjoyed the tour! We were nervous booking it because it was brand new with no reviews, but we're very happy we did it! The afternoon got a little long because we were all so tired from the busy day - but it was a great tour with a great guide as well. The one thing to note is that to get to the tombs, you must hike up a "hill" aka mini mountain. Wear comfortable shoes and if you are afraid of heights or have health issues, you may want to choose a different tour.
You'll see plenty of "Ireland" in this tour - complete with a lot of green and a lot of sheep! All in all, a great day for a very affordable price with all that you get to see!

It was a cold, wet day (surprise), but despite that it was a nice tour. Trim Castle (where Braveheart was filmed) was outstanding. Wear shoes with good tread because you'll be climbing a steep, slippery hill to get to some of the tombs. If you have some extra time in Dublin, this is a good tour.
