This tour was amazing!! It was totally worth it. We started early in the morning and we drove and stopped at many different beautiful places. Our tour guide was HILARIOUS and he sang irish tunes. I only stayed a weekend in Ireland, and stayed in Dublin. It was a perfect tour to take if you want to see both sides of the country. I would recommend this to everyone. The tour guide stopped at a restaurant so we ate lunch on the countryside of Ireland. The shops at Cliffs of Moher were really great, so bring cash! We got back around 7:30 pm and I had a blast.
The sights were amazing and the driver/tour guide was the best I have ever had in 5 years of using Viator
The bus trip was a great day trip! Although the weather was drizzly we loved the cliffs, the bus driver was very friendly and told us a lot of history!
Our guide Joseph was amazing. It was one of my favourite trips. He totally made it a blast! He was so funny!
Very good tour! So much to see in one day but its worth it, even when theres pouring rain.
Gabriel was a wonderful bus driver and tour guide. He had many stories to tell about Ireland and of the towns and villages we were going through. The Cliffs were magnificent. Anyone taking the tour, make sure to bundle up. It is very windy. Gabriel took us to a restaurant and we had Fish and Chips. I don't regularly like Fish and Chips, but these were wonderful. We also stopped at a chocolate shop. Gabriel made sure we stopped regularly for bathroom breaks and also stopped at some ruins. Overall, I would give this a 10 out of 10.
Excellent one day tour especially if you are at a loss of time and sightseeing. The driver and guide was wonderful. He allowed us many stops to take pictures, breaks etc and the day was magnificent....bright sunshine all day. The Cliffs Of Moher are a must see and the Buren. Booked the tour in early September so no crowds. The scenery throughout the whole trip was absolutely spectacular. Great value for the money.
Though 13 hours long by the time, we had a great tour. Our guide Joseph was wonderful with his stories, Irish songs and humor. All this and handling the tour bus with ease. The sights were fantastic including the Cliffs, Dunguaire Abbey and the Burren.
The cliffs are breathtaking! Even on a cloudy day the Cliffs are gorgeous and the tour was a great way to see the country side and experience more of Ireland not just the city life!
best experience.. the tour was wonderful we made extra stops and our guide was great. we did this our secondd day in ireland, don't think twice. you can choose to go right or left... we spent most of our time on the right side...do regret not going left as well... time flies but just take everything in. price and all is worth it
I absolutely loved it. The tour guide Mathew Mat was a wealth of knowledge, we had a beautiful sunny day and I would highly recommend this trip as a way to see the beautiful Irish countryside.....
Fantastic trip throughout Ireland- the cliffs are amazing on a clear day! Jim was a fantastic guide and kept the group engaged with history and stories throughout the ride. Would recommend to anyone!
The Cliffs of Moher tour was with Joseph Joey. The tour guide had tons of information and sang a lot - he was a fun guy who put on a great ambiance. Our first stop was in Limerick, you are offered the option to go on a 20 minutes walking tour explaining the history surrounding the area if you wish for an additional 2 euro/per person. After that we went for the Cliffs of Moher, what a majestic site. It is breathtaking you have about 1 hour and 1/2 to visit those cliffs. We went to the right path towards the O'Brien's Tower. It costs 2 euro/p.p. to go visit the tower and the view from it is amazing. Later on, we were taken to a pub called McGann's pub. The prices are good so is the food is good but, for the drinks you had to go to the bar to get them no service at the table. You stay around 1 hour there then the next stop is the Burren in County Clare for an amazing site too on the rocks. You stay there around 15-20 minutes then head towards Corcomroe Abbey. The Abbey is in ruins but a delight. We stayed there around 20 minutes then headed to our last stop which was Hazel Mountain Chocolates. The place was not ok and you ought to try the hot cocoa 55 cocoa.
Again, overall this tour is highly recommended.
Although it rained non stop our tour guide Mike did his best to make the best of the day. Mike was a well informed and excellent guide..a day that could have been a disaster was instead an entertaining, informative and fun trip..we learnt a lot about Dublin and Ireland such a well informed guide with excellent communication skills..completely worth the money...
this was a great tour. it was the reason i came back to ireland for a 2nd time. the tour guide, david, did a very good job of explaining everything.
A fantastic trip! Our guide/driver Wayne was amazing.....not only knowledgeable but highly entertaining as we traversed the country. We were educated about Irish language, culture and history along the way which was a fun bonus. Everything was very organized...stops along the way were well planned, and we were returned safely to the centrally-located meeting place in plenty of time to grab dinner at a recommended pub. If you are staying outside of the city you'll need to plan well for the early a.m. departure time as many of Dublin's buses and trains don't run that early.
Really awesome tour, not only are the cliffs extremely impressive, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting information about the history of Ireland.
Mac was great! Kept his cool when we had bus issues. Took great care of all of us and gave a great tour packed full of wonderful fact of Ireland and its history. DO NOT PASS UP THIS TOUR!!
Many cute stops on the way, wonderful to see the west coast of Ireland! Lunch in a classic Irish pub was great. Our tour guide was very informative and enthusiastic. The sights were gorgeous. We a,so stopped at a local family owned chocolate factory, which was some of the best chocolates I have ever had. Really enjoyed my time and would recommend this to anyone who is looking to do a day trip.
This tour was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Our bus stopped for a quick breakfast at the Obama Plaza...funny to these Americans! On to the cliffs we went enjoying the guides narrative and sense of humor. The lush country side with its castles and rock fences were a delight to see. The Cliffs were breathtaking...take good shoes if you plan on walking very far. A hardy Irish lunch at a local place was just what we needed after climbing about the Cliffs. Great time!
This trip was the best! Our tour guide Joseph sang and entertained the whole trip (he might actually be a leprechaun though). The bus was clean and comfortable and we made many interesting stops. Joseph knew a lot about the sites and told us folklore. It was a fun trip with spectacular views!
