Begin your Irish day trip by traveling 8 miles (13 kilometers) southeast of Dublin to the former Viking settlement of Dalkey. Here you'll head straight to pretty Dalkey Castle, where you’ll see an entertaining live theater performance of actors depicting the lives of their Tudor ancestors.
