Loved the hop on hop off bus. What a great value. It also included transportation to and from the airport. The airport bus stopped right outside my hotel which is so convenient.
I love to take on and off bus tours and have found that the tour is really made by the quality of the drivers/guides. I usually have multiple drivers and get at least one that I don't care for. I am happy to report that during the two days I used the Dublin Freedom Pass, every driver/guide I had was excellent.
The round trip airport transport was a good deal and easy to access. The Hop-on Hop-off tour was very informative and convenient to get to where you want to go. It also includes discounts at various attractions. I got 1 Euro off of the Guiness Storehouse ticket by using the coupon on the tour map. It also includes a free historical walking tour that starts at 11AM from the Spire and lasts about 2 hours. Be sure to ask your driver on the Hop-on Hop-off bus for the ticket of this free walking tour early, otherwise you will have to do it on the following day. All in all, it is a great deal and perfect for my 3-day stay in Dublin.
This was totally worth the . The ease of getting to and from the airport and being able to use any buses within Dublin was great!
Very good value, gives you sightseeing and city transportation. Had the three day good for transport from and to the airport. Plus Hop on Hop off sightseeing for three days. This is all you need, pay for your events as you enter them.
This was really outstanding! Great drivers who gave a lot of interesting history that is a part of Dublin.
Well worth buying! It made travelling around Dublin easy and to be able to hop off and on whenever we wanted throughout our three day trip was great. The drivers were excellent to multitask while driving and speaking at the same time!
The Freedom Pass was a great way to get from the airport to my hotel. The tour bus was a great way to view the city and then hop off to tour around. The service was great.
Wasn't sure we would need this when we arrived, but soon changed our minds. Extremely good value if you have a few days in town. Starts rewarding you directly from the airport with the 747 shuttle to many points all over Dublin. The 'Hop on-Hop off' buses are very regular, every 10 minutes or so, buses are clean and late model, not old bangers. And, we were super impressed with the FREE WI-FI on board the buses!! Another great value deal from Viator.
short waits for the bus. The second story of the bus offered a good view of Dublin. Drivers commentary witty.
very convenient and easy to use. buses came frequently. our guide on the bus was very funny and great tour guide on the bus
Great investment. Frequent Airlink buses to the airport from nearby central drop off points and great commentary on the open-top bus tours. Regular busses were also included in the pass though we didn't get chance to use them. Valid for 72 hours from first use, this was excellent value for money and all you need for a long weekend in Dublin.
Great value and a very good and efficient service, would reccommend it to any traveler as a cheap and easy way around Dublin and as the airport transfer. Stopped directly outside my hotel....perfect
Very interesting. Knowledgeable and witty tour guides. Buses always on time. Be sure to take the Live commentary buses - it shows up on screen at front of bus.
Had a blast riding Green bus. The gentleman was very helpful telling us where to go to get our bus passes.
the coaches were easily accessible and very informative. I liked the availability of combining the airport service and the local transit busses.
Once we got over our jet lag and figured this system out, we loved our Freedom Pass. It did take us awhile to remember that we had to be on the side of the street so we could get on a vehicle going the direction we wanted to go but hopefully we'll remember that if we ever get to Dublin again. We also found that Dublin is very walkable.
