Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. We enjoyed the tour immensely.
Excellent! Our guide was knowledgable (VERY!), personable, and an excellent guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with him , and are so glad we found Viator!!!!!
in a word, Great! I could have sat in a room and listened to Donnel all day. Our guide has a love and passion for the city and the Irish that was clearly evident by the pride he took in the tour. This is the experience that every tourist is seeking.
Guide has excellent knowledge of Irish history and conveys it with precision and passion.
I am sure this was a great our also, but we did not plan our day right and ended up not doing this one.
Very, very informed guide. A previous Trinity College graduate. More of a history of Ireland and Dublin than any comments about buildings, etc. Mostly a story of the wrongs done to Ireland by the UK. Got it early on but over 3 hours got a little old. Due to circumstances were not able to enter any of the buildings.
We booked a historical walking tour through Viator.com that lasted a couple of hours and started at Trinity College. The tour guide was very knowledgable but the entire tour turned out to be about the history of Ireland and the divide between the Catholics and Protestants and we did not go to some of the places listed in their description like Temple Bar and Ha'Penny Bridge nor did we learn much about the places we visited with the exception of a Catholic church that had been hidden in the back yard of a building during a time that they were discriminated against. There were some interesting parts but much of the time I had a hard time paying attention because the content was boring to me and not at all what I expected.
