Everything promised and more. The food was outstanding and the musicians outrageous. I don't believe we could have experienced everything Irish in one evening unless we were invited to a real family gathering. As the Irish would say, 'well done'.

A very enjoyable evening. The venue was changed, to accommodate the large contingent we assumed and the menu was different and in our view, better. The entertainment was fun. A definite must when visiting Dublin.

This was a great time. The food was just so so, but the music and atmosphere were just great and I had a terrific time.

We booked this to see the real side of Ireland and we felt they achieved this. It was lovely food and real fun. Definitely worth doing when you take a trip to Dublin.

The dinner was very poor! We were a bit disappointed, to say the least! Enjoyed the music and the "craic." It was very rushed as well; the dancer couldn't wait to get away.

Our party of 4 booked the show only. I would not recommend doing this. I recommend doing the dinner with show or skip this. When we arrived we were seated against the wall in bar stools while the rest of the crowd sat at dinner tables next to the show floor. The diners obviously had been conversing with the band prior to our arrival and this made us feel like we were late to a party. There was not even a drink included with the show and we had to wait until half way through just to get the hotel bar keep to sell us a soda at a ridiculously high price. Our view was blocked by poles and a staircase and the dinner crowd standing and videotaping. They acted insulted that we asked them to please step to the side to videotape so we could somewhat see. The band itself was good. The dancer looked like she didn't want to be there. I was disappointed.

Low quality food, not a good way to spend the evening.
Reviewed by: Judy H, United States of America, October 2007 Note from Viator: Thanks for the feedback Judy. In 2007 the Irish House Party was brand new in Dublin and operating from another venue. We have updated the venue to a beautiful Georgian house/hotel in the heart of Dublin 4, called the The Lansdowne Hotel. The menu has also been improved to offer an authentic and traditional Irish selection.
