Amazing tour - Kilkenny was so much fun. You get free time to explore on your own and it's so lovely. Glendalough is breathtaking... ancient monastery ruins, beautiful mountains, so much history and all in a gorgeous setting. I would say this day trip is a MUST!!!
Excellent tour and this tour company is amazing. They provide loads of historical information, so you can learn about the Irish culture along the drive. The entire tour was wonderful. We used this tour company twice and both tours were perfect and I highly recommend them.
Truly amazing! Our tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly. It was interesting to learn about the culture and see the countryside of Ireland.
Trip was great, amazing scenery, Kilkenny is such a nice city it would have been nice to have more time to be able to see everything in Kilkenny and do the caves but I understand with so much to see you can't do everything in a day. The guide was good at pointing out things and did a nice job with the walk through the National Park, what a beautiful area. Worth the time!
Tour guide was helpful and informative. This was a great experience and would recommned it to anyone.
The trip brought us to the medieval city which is very beautiful.
Wild Rover Tour has a bus driver and a tour guide in the bus. The guide is very knowledgable about the history of Ireland, and was passionate to share it with us. I learned a lot from him on the day.
Both the driver and the guide are very professional and courteous.
Because we had visited many caves in different countries, the cave was not very interesting to us.
For the Kilenny City and Glendalough, I and my group enjoyed it very much.

Kilkenny was a fun little Medieval town. The gardens are a must see. I enjoyed Glendalough along with the short hiking trail. I went back the next day!
To say not enough time is an understatement but it is a day trip. The sights were great. We saw typical Ireland fog while at Glendalough. The coach and tour guide and driver were great. good tour
Rob our tour Guide and Tony our driver where fabulous. It was nice to get out of Dublin for the day. Killkenny was a beautiful village and Glendalough was even more than what I had read....absolutely gorgeous. 5 star all the way
This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide Yoan was fantastic. He had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable. Our bus driver John was also great. We were picked up on time and the bus was very comfortable. Kilkenny is a lovely village and is very easy to walk around. The weather was beautiful which made our visit to Glendalough so enjoyable. Yoan was with us every step of the way explaining all the highlights.. What a wealth of information. The bus ride through the wicklow mountains was fantastic and we were able to stop and take some pictures. A tour that stays overnight at Glendalough would be ideal but the one day trip was great.
Had a great time. Kenny the tour guide was great and informative. A tour to take.
For the price, this was a great tour. Bus was prompt and timely, clean, and well maintained. The tour guide I believe her name was Siofra was pleasant and informative. Overall a great experience. I would just recommend contacting the company first to confirm which bus you will be taking picks up from the same spot as several other tours.
This is a wonderful tour. It was great to get outside of Dublin and see the countryside. The tour bus was prompt in picking us up. Our guide was very nice and very knowledgeable. He shared good information as we traveled along preparing us for each stop. This tour is worth every penny.
I enjoyed this trip. The castle was impressive and a nice little town to explore.
Great day out, thanks to our guide Andrew just a note to anyone booking this trip that they also go to Wicklow mountains take note of this in order to avoid booking a separate tour to WICKLOW .
Wonderful day, our tour guide Jim was very nice and knowledgeable. Kilkenny is beautiful. I did not tour the castle but rather spent time in the town and checked out the other historic sites there. Glendalough is also an amazing site, it would have been nice to have more time there. This trip was one of my highlights in my brief stay in Ireland, I highly recommend it!
very informative very friendly guide and driver i can recomend this tour to everyone
Our Guide, Andrew and our driver, Bill provided us with a wonderful Irish Experience, from the Castle in Kilkenny to the Monastery in the Wicklow Mountains, and the Beautiful waterfall and Lakes in Glendalough. Marvelous tour filled with information, history and culture. You will love this tour. A real value for the cost.
Andrew was a great tour guide and we had an amazing driver. The day was a fun, relaxing day with a lot of history and beautiful scenery. We would definitely go on the tour again.
The tour was great, our guide was very nice and she entertained us during the road trips telling us the history of the places and commenting Irish music on the radio. It was well worth it!!
Great tour! Wouldn't have minded a bit more time in Kilkenny, but got to tour the castle and see the town. Our guide was great, lots of good information and kept it interesting! Could have used just a bit more time at Glendalough, but still got to see lots!
We had the most wonderful day with our tour guide and would highly recommend this tour with Wild Rover Tours. our Guide loves Ireland and knows the history and shared his knowledge and passion with the group. Be sure to do the walk to the upper lake at Glendalough. Kilkenny is a lovely city!
