Great tour. Definitely recommend this trip. Our guide was very informative, joked and at the end of the tour recommended additional tours to take as well as sites to see in Dublin. We chose not to go see the caves and instead walked around Kilkenny. The city is beautiful and has a lot to offer if you enjoy a bit of a walk.
Brian the tour guide was just wonderful. The bus was very clean and comfortable. I felt like I really got my monies worth. The cave trip had lots of steps but it was an exciting change from the normal type touring you might do on other trips. We loved the Castle and Glendalough both were just beautiful.
Had an amazing time! The tour guide was really informative and funny and really, no matter where you are in Ireland, it is breathtakingly beautiful.
Good tour and knowledgeable guide-- would like more time in Kilkenny
Oh boy that guide needs to learn that discipline is very important to his job . People were talking all the time and changing their seats in each stop.
excellent, all very interesting, and we had time to do things I enjoy- good weather and guide was pleasant and helpful
This was a fantastic tour. My husband isn't a tour kind of guy and agreed it was great because the
terrific guide, a Trinity student, with an unusual name and some purple hair, was brilliant. She gave
us great information on the bus and provided a half hour tour of Glendalough monastery. Then we
were on our own to walk to the lakes. We then drove to Kilkenny and were given enough information to
make choices about what we wanted to do there for three hours. Some people went to the caves but we decided to visit the castle which was great. We had lunch in a pub that began in 1324 and it blew our
minds that the pub was new compared to the castle which was first build in 1150!
Fabulous day trip with a knowledge tour guide. A beautiful medieval city with lots to see. Glendalough and surrounding countryside was beautiful.
Really awesome tour.Highly recommended. Our guide was great and very informative.
Katrina did a great job as tour guide. She gave lots of good information. We chose to not see the caves as we would have had very little time left in Kilkenny. Instead we saw the castle, then a medieval house in town called the Roche House which was very interesting. Then to Glendalough which is really an interesting place. Really enjoyed this tour!
There was lots to see and I learned a lot. This tour shows a visitor the countryside and it was beautiful.
