This tour was fantastic! It was a slow day at the store, so I was able to get the Connoisseur experience all to myself. All 4 beers were great and the guide/bartender was excellent. I would recommend this to everyone who enjoys the beer in the US (it's better in Ireland).
Absolutely do this!! One of our favorite things we did on our trip!!
This was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone that loves beer and has a little bit more to spend. The self guided tour was great because we could visit areas we like the most. The taste experience was perfect and very informative. They wrapped tasting each beer with a small history lesson that I found to be quite interesting. The little gift at the end of the session was great. Top this off with a pint from the top floor, offering a panoramic view of Dublin, it was a memorable must-do experience.
Only way to visit the Store house! Small group, wonderful and informative guide/bartender. Was amazing and excited to answer all our question! Totally worth the money!
Brilliant place . Amazing people. Would def do.the private bar tour . Well.worth the money. :-) will.def be back . And the 360 roof bar wow amazing up there best views in dublin.
This was a personal tasting wtih one of Guinness' experienced guides. We had Ian as our guide. He was very knowledgable on all things Guinness. He took us into a back room which was a wood paneled bar with comfortable furniture. We sampled several beers and even a few Guinness cocktails. The ambiance and detail was perfect. Nice work Ian!
This is a great experience for any Guinness lover. It's set in a private, very quiet bar with your own bartendar and you learn far more with the tasting than what you get out in the self guided tour. Definitely worth the extra cost.
This tour was memorable! Andrew was extremely knowledgeable. There were about 8 of us in a private room. I feel in love with Guinness. This was one of our top things to do in Dublin.
The Guinness guild was very informative and the private setting very beautiful. The only negative was that there was a group of 6 young German men in our tour that were more interested in talking to each other and telling jokes. They were very disruptive and annoying.
The actual connoisseur part was fine however we were not advised to arrive early and we did not have time to do the tour or obtain our first Guinness. Had we known that this was the case and the gravity bar and everything else was shutting at 6.00 we would have arrived much earlier. This information needs to be conveyed to the consumer. I also opted for the app ticket and scan option and when I got there they did not accept this option and required a paper ticket which I did not have. Overall for what we got I felt this was extremely expensive
I paid quite a bit of money for a tour that did not happen as outlined below. While my husband I may have skipped the lines we did not receive the Guinness Connoisseur Experience. While the tour was interesting we were treated just like every other tourist - nothing to say we stood out from the rest!
