My husband was so impressed that we were taken into a private room and asked to rate four or five different bottles of Guinness. My husband thanked me profusely and told me it was the best part of the two week cruise. I enjoyed it and I'm not a beer drinker. It made a convert out of me.
Awesome!! Getting this private tasting was the best way to see this place. My husband said it was he favorite day in Dublin. I highly recommend this tour.
Great fun. Was glad to be able to skip the big lines plus I learned more than I would have on the self guided walking tour
Was a fantastic and intimate introduction to Guinness! Hannah was awesome and extremely knowledgeable about all facets relating to Guinness. Enjoyed being able to taste the many varieties and to learn how to properly pour!
If I could give the Connoisseur Taste Experience SIX stars, I would! In addition to 'skip the line' the Connoisseur Taste Experience is a private room within the Guinness Storehouse. Our guide has a legacy with Guinness and told us wonderful stories of the 'real' Guinness. It was wonderful wonderful wonderful!
The Connoisseur Taste Experience is well worth it! An excellent way to learn about Guinness and to experience the stories both present and past. We had a great time!
DO IT! Well worth the money and be prepared to spend the afternoon and really enjoy the experience. Professional guide was Fab. I would do this tour again.
What can I say, you do feel like a VIP when you book this experience. From the no waiting in line benefit, to the personal hand holding into the room, plus the tasting and free beer...just a great memory. Yes, it is pricey and a little quick...but well worth the Euro's. NOTE: for those wanting to use their bree beer voucher, you can also use it at the little pub on the 4th floor v. waiting in line at the Skybar. Skybar is cool for a quick peek and look around, but it's hot and crowded and too long for the beer.
It was so much fun, got to have 3 beers out of the deal 2 there and one to take home. Also got to try 4 different types of Guinness. learned how to pour a pint, very intimate group so were able to ask lots of questions and chat. Well worth the extra money to do it. The museum is amazing to wander around. make sure you leave lots of time just to meander around and explore. Worth doing twice if you can.
Do it, do it, do it. It was great as you are in a private room. Our guide was entertaining and informative. We were able to try various Guinness and more. This was well worth the money. But get there earlier than your scheduled time so you can tour the facility on your own.
Totally worth the experience! One of the best adventures we had in Dublin!
We loved our experience. The bar/room where we tasted was wonderful. We learned so much about beer and the history of Guiness. It was very interesting and entertaining. The beer was great and plentiful. So glad we did this and had a special experience rather than joining all the crowds.
Great, interesting information on the Black Stuff, sampling was fun and then pulling a pint rewarding. Gravity Bar awesome, definitely experience this if you like beer!!!
Phenomenal experience! Cannot possibly overstate how much fun the Connoisseur experience was. In fact, I'm not sure a visit to the Guinness Storehouse is even worth it if you don't take the Connoisseur tour.
Definitely worth the money! Such an awesome experience. It was more relaxed to sit down with a small group of people and get your own tasting and pint pouring than with a whole group. Our tour guide was very informative and enthusiastic. Would definitely do this again if I ever return to Dublin!

WORTH EVERY PENNY! SKIP THE LINE AND VIP EXPERIENCE! SO SO SO WORTH IT! MUST DO IN DUBLIN! Seriously, book this ASAP. This was by far the BEST Viator price/experience yet. Guinness Storehouse is incredible and this Viator Voucher provides the BEST experience. Private small group VIP tasting experience, learn to pour, learn the history, etc. and then tour the storehouse and get 2 pints! WHAT?! SO AWESOME! I had no idea how incredible this would be, so grateful we did it!
This tour is worth the time. There was a group of 11. From tasting other types of Guinness brewed, to the history, marketing and showing how to pour your own. Our group of 4 loved it. Only tidbit I'd provide is bring a jacket. It's was cold in the bar.
Do this if you have the opportunity. You get your own speakeasy, are schooled in beer, and taste several beers large portions. After the tasting you can walk around on the self guided tour and get another free pint.
This was so fun. My husband was not so sure about this tour, but in the end we both had such a great time. Be aware, attendees get to taste approximately 5 1/2pints of the various Guinness beers. Our Connoisseur was one of only 2 women on the Private tasting experience and you can tell she really likes her Guinness and it is infectious for all those around the bar too. It was so worth the money, time and experience. A must do.
This is a must do at Guinness. You can do the tour, visit the shop, get food, etc. But, with this you get to sit with a small group in a private bar learning about Guinness and drinking an assortment of beers. You also get coupons for 2 free beers. In the end, just in beer, the tour pays for itself. I had more than I wanted during the taste experience and they let me use the coupons with free admission the next day.
Absolutely enchanting, educational, and entertaining!! Would do it again.
This was a great experience. I enjoyed learning about the history of the various beers sold by Guinness over the years. But of course the best part was learning the technique to pouring the perfect pint!
We had SO MUCH FUN!!! It was an epic experience with some amazing beer, including varieties you can't get in the US, all while you learn about the history of Guinness. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Dublin!
