Itinerary: Day 1: Dublin - West Cork
Depart Dublin. Pass through Curragh Racecourse (Braveheart film set) and the Magnificent Rock of Cashel. Enjoy a walk and picnic on Galtee Mohr (Ireland's fifth highest Mountain), or visit the quirky Mitchelstown caves. Pass through Cork, Ireland's 2nd city, kiss the world famous Blarney Stone and follow the Lee Valley to the source of River Lee. Overnight in the stunning Gougane Barra Hotel.

Overnight Accommodation: Gougane Barra Hotel, West Cork or Casey's B and B Unionhall

Day 2: West Cork - Beara Peninsula
Walk in Gougane Barra Forest Park and meet the Atlantic Coastline at Bantry Bay. Enjoy seal spotting in Glengarriff, then head out onto Beara Peninsula, the undiscovered Peninsula. Horse riding or a walk are options at Dun Booey, amongst the castles. Lunch at McCarthy's Bar in Castletownbere, then take the cable car to Dursey Island. Overnight in the tiny and stunningly located village of Allihes.

Overnight Accommodation: Seaview Guesthouse, Allihes

Day 3: Beara - Portmagee, Co Kerry
Depart Allihes. Take a shortcut via old coppermines and over Mountain pass. Visit ancient Ogham stone in Eyeries. Explore Beara and the stunning coastline, with views across to Iveragh Peninsula. Lunch in picturesque Kenmare and walk up the old Kenmare Road. Join the Ring of Kerry scenic route on the Iveragh Peninsula. Visit Staigue Fort and admire the amazing views. Options this afternoon include riding a Llama or walking amongst Macgillycuddy Reeks Mountain, before a barbecue on Derrynane Beach. Overnight in Portmagee/Ballinskelligs.

Overnight Accommodation: The Moorings, Portmagee

Day 4: Portmagee - Dingle
After a quick stop at Rosbeigh Strand, head for Dingle Peninsula via Killorglin (Goat Fair) and Castlemaine (Wild Colonial Boy). Drive along Inch Strand and then walk to the waterfalls above Lough Annascaul. Lunch in Tom Crean's South Pole Inn. Journey through Dingle town and follow Slea Head Drive. Stop at Europe's most westerly point and see Coumeenoule Beach (film set for Ryan's Daughter). Via Dunchoain Harbour (Real old Ireland) and Smerwick Head (views of Mount Brandon ).Overnight in Dingle Town, a town of 2000 people and 54 pubs!

Overnight Accommodation: Dingle Harbour Lodge, Dingle

Day 5: Dingle - Dublin
Enjoy an early morning swim with Funghi the Dolphin. Follow Conor Pass, Ireland's highest road and walk to a vantage point to admire the views over Dingle Bay. You can choose to take a surfing lesson on Ireland's longest beach! A quick toilet stop at the Rose festival in Tralee. Enjoy lunch in the pretty heritage town of Adair. Pass through Limerick, Ireland's third city and stop on the shore or the River Shannon before heading home via Kildare. You will arrive in Dublin between 5:30pm - 6:00pm for tearful farewell hugs and a few pints!
