Sunset
Another shot as I was standing in a stone circle and watching the sun sink behind a mountain. It was reminiscent of an Egyptian pyramid and aligned with the stone circles. Awesome!
Ireland
This was a typical view as we were driving around Ireland. Rugged coastline and remote villages. I felt really lucky to see so much on this tour, as the 4WD was able to navigate those windy and steep roads with ease!
Sunset
I was standing in a ancient stone circle (like Stonehenge in England), when I took this photo. I didn't realize that Ireland has stone circles EVERYWHERE. I really liked learning about them, and found a new passion for learning about Ireland's history when I returned home to London.
Hiking
Roberta and I spent a good amount of time hiking. We would jump out of the 4WD and skip along the top of mountains and the guide would pick us up at the bottom. It was so windy in December but I absolutely loved the rugged feel of Winter and getting out in the elements. We had a blast walking along pilgrimage routes.
