This was a really cool extremely informative tour. Our tour guide, Helen, was the sweetest lady! She was so knowledgeable, and the sites were beautiful. If you want to know Irish history, and the history of Dublin, this is the tour to take.
This tour was great. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I am very glad we did this. It was a great start to our day.
Guide was well versed in local history. The final tour of the crypts under St. Michen's was fantastic!
THE BEST. Honestly, the best part of our trip. Holy Cow. Our tour guide, a lady, was so passionate about history. She knew everything, answered EVERY question. This was just the very best thing we did in Ireland.
Excellent tour with exceptional guide; unfortunately I took the tour on a bank holiday with the result that some sites were closed; that was the only disappointment.
Very interesting. The history of Dublin is interwoven with the Vikings though little remains above ground.
I realized when I got on this tour I had seen Mr. Liddy on an episode of "Cities of the Underworld-Dublin" on the History Channel. Our guide had a great sense of humor and knew her Viking history in Ireland!
This was a great way to explore the more interesting aspects of the city, and was fascinating. The tour guide was exceptional and also pointed other areas to explore in the city, which I did. This was one of my favorite experiences in Dublin and Ireland. It was money well spent.
The guide was really lovely and knowledgeable. My only criticism is that much of the viking and medieval buildings have been destroyed, so you look at a lot of more modern buildings and talk about the viking history side. In that sense its a bit like a general tour of Dublin. But the trip to the crypt to see mummified remains at the end of the tour, was really interesting.
Do one of these two walking tours but don't do them both-they repeat themselves quite a bit. All the tour guides were very knowledgeable and informative.
We had quite a bit of rain on the day we went, and I think that it probably affected the quality of the tour. The information given on the tour was good, but not extraordinary. I could have probably found out the information on my own without the tour guide. I would probably do the hop on hop off tour rather than this one if I had to do it again.
