What You Can Expect
After admiring the views at Mount Srd’s peak for just less than an hour, travel back down to Dubrovnik by cable car, and then start your walking tour of the Old Town. Home to most of the city’s finest attractions, the neighborhood boasts culture and history in plentiful measures. See the circular Onofrio's Fountain with its huge central dome, and amble past the Franciscan monastery, where a copy of Michelangelo’s La Pietà sculpture is housed.
Continue walking to Sponza Palace – an attractive building that’s easily the jewel in Dubrovnik’s Renaissance crown. Now housing the country’s extensive state archives, Sponza Palace was once the town’s most opulent palatial building. Other highlights on your walking tour include Orlando's Column, the city bell tower, Rector’s Palace and the Church of St Blaise – a pretty church dedicated to the city’s patron saint.
Walk across the main square to see the Baroque Cathedral of the Assumption, which was rebuilt in the 18th century after an earthquake, and then end your walking tour near Pile Gate.
Enjoyed the Cable car ride and tour
It was a great tour. I have taken many tours in many different places, but the tour guide may have been the best tour guide I have seen. She was very knowledgeable and engaging and clearly had a love of her city. Comprehensive knowledge of the city and its history, culture, politics and business.

Would recommend this for a great introduction to Dubrovnik. Guide was knowledgable and fun. Great photo opportunity from ever corner and view.
This is a must do in Dubrovnik. We did the cable car first and then a city town tour after. Our guide Marja was very informative and couldn't have been a better guide. The view was amazing!!!! I would highly recommend this everyone. I highly recommend Viator travel to everyone also. Everything was very professional and the people you deal with are helpful and friendly.
Fantastic view of the walls around the city and surrounding area. Good area for photos.
Guide was awesome. Very organized and knowledgeable. Like small group. The cable car trip is definitely a must. Great way to see Dubrovnik.
We were met on time by our very efficient and courteous guide Anna, who introduced herself.
The other two expected participants failed to arrive, so we had the services on Anna for the whole of our brief visit.
Anna's expertise and competence were very much appreciated by myself and my wife.
The experience including the cable car trip and walking tour were thoroughly enjoyable. Thank You.
Ivana was one of the best, most knowledgeable, fun, interesting tour leaders I have ever had the pleasure of following! She had such a great personality and a wonderful, real way of talking about Dubrovnik that it made us feel like we had an "insider's" view of life there. The one thing I probably would change about the tour is the amount of time allotted for the top of Mt Sred. There is an amazing museum located in the fort there dealing with the recent Homeland Wars that deserved at least an hour, but we only had 20 minutes once we got there. Also, it was good I printed out my voucher for the tour, because Ivana had NO information on me being signed up for the tour. But the email Viator sent when I signed up for the tour had all the meet-up times and location information, so it was very easy to locate and find my group when there was more than one group showing up in the exact location.
We had a great time, tour guide was exceptional! Very knowledgeable and explained calmly to questions posed. She also shared useful local information with us such as nice places to have drinks, eat and be merry!
