There were a LOT of people on this tour but it was a really enjoyable day, the islands were fun to visit and nice to wander around. Extremely relaxing and well hosted by bi-lingual staff and fun musicians.
Whilst lunch is included I'd take some cash along for any additional coffees/drinks needed on the boat. Thanks for a lovely day!
This tour was excellent! We really enjoyed the cruise, the boat was great and the entertainment a lot of fun. THe islands were beautiful and we really enjoyed our swimming spots in crystal ,clear waters. Lunch was good value and we would highly recommend this cruise
This cruise is amazing! The ship is incredible, and so much fun to ride on. The Elafiti Islands are beautiful, and you get a surprising amount of time to relax and explore each one. We were very impressed by the whole tour! The lunch is nice, too, but I would suggest asking for an alternative if you don't like fish, because it is a fish lunch.
This cruise is worth every cent you spend - and it's on the cheap side for what is included! I would highly recommend it for anyone considering doing a cruise in Dubrovnik - particularly those who want to avoid the younger, partying type crowd!
Our boat was gorgeous! The day was soooooo windy that we nearly froze, but everything else was wonderful! Our lunch consisted of fish, bread, salad and wine. The fish was the best fish we had the whole time we were in Dubrovnik. The cooks kept our stomachs happy.
Excellent tour! It's definitely worth doing! The atmosphere on the ship is very relaxed, with the tour guides allowing you to enjoy the beautiful views by not constantly throwing facts at you. You are also able to buy all kinds of drinks on the boat as it has its own bar, so you don't have to worry about taking a cool bag or anything to keep drinks cool! The three islands are stunning, Kolocep is the smallest island, and doesn't have that much to do on it, but if you walk up to a church the views are lovely. Sipan had the best view of all though, a 10 minute walk from the harbour is a very odd looking church, it looks more like a prison in all honesty, but you can see for miles in all directions. Lopud, is the most populated island and unlike Dubrovnik, it does have a sandy beach, if you like sand that is, there are also several shops, churches, and a lovely botanical garden. You get the most free time on Lopud and can really enjoy some of the food in the restaurants. Definitely a good day out!
Enjoyable trip, though lunch was only average. Visited some beautiful islands, and met some nice people onboard.
Well organised, and the lunch was very nice, though the portions weren't huge. There was a vegetarian option for people who didn't eat fish. The musicians were really cheesy, and the boat pretty busy, but didn't overly detract from the tour. Very pleasant way to see the islands.
We were picked up nearly exactly on time at a hotel close to our apaartment. Traffic was light so we got to the dockside on time and boarded our boat. On casting off we were all given a tot of grappa which we gave to some thirsty Swedish folk next to us.....not to our taste at 9 a.m......though a beer would have done it.
The three islands visited were lovely and we were lucky with the weather which was bright and sunny. We went for a walk at each stop managing a total of around 10 km in all.....we like exercise!!!! The division of time at each Island was starnge.....40 minutes for the first, 75 minutes for the second and nearly three hours for the last stop. The first was too short the last far too long.
The fish lunch was a bit ordinary but tasty, the wine was not chilled enough.
All in all a good trip but needs tweaking a bit to make it really excellent.
we had a great time. after the lunch wine the band started playing tunes from specific countries. the french got up and sang and danced. it was really fun. the food was delicious. i would recommend the trip.
Loved spending time cruising on the boat in the fabulous weather - entertainment was great and food very nice. Wine was ok and there was plenty on offer should you want it!! First two islands were slightly disappointing and quite time limited. Third island is amazing and had lots of time to explore!
THis was a most enjoyable experience sailing on the adriatic sea on a replica saing ship.about 80 people on board.fish lunch and wine supplied which was okay.. 3 islands visited do the buggy ride at lopud island.
Really good trip worth going to see the Islands.
Very relaxing day, boating around the islands. Free time at the island with the great beach and even better gelato and shopping. Take in an ancient monastery (from the 1400s), traipse over the island to a pristine beach, or just stroll about. You can be as adventurous as you like, or as laid back as you like. Boat holds many... but you want to get there early, to be sure you get the spot you want. I was at the back of the ship, on the upper deck, by the captain. Wonderful on a sunny day!
Great time and beautiful island. I just regret that we left with 30 min late and we didnt get this minutes back when we stopped at the first island. So the first visit was very short. Same for the second island, time was short. Then, we had plenty of time to visit the third one.
The crew was fantastic. My group was dressed up as pirates, for a birthday celebration, and everyone was so great playing along, taking photos and being accommodating. Whiel the actual island tour was okay, it was the crew's attention and hlep that really stood out and made things special. My friends, including the birthday girl, were thrilled.
The first Island was a bit of a non-event, and the seating arrangements led to some tense moments but apart from that, all good.
A great thing to do whilst in Dubrovnik. A fun day was had by myself and my ten year old son. We enjoyed the longer stay on lopud island the best and took a golf buggy ride over to the beach at the other side of the island. We found the other islands a bit rushed .... but it was still interesting to see them and decide if they were worth a revisit on another day.
This was a great experience especially on a warm, summer day. We had enough time to explore at each island and had time for a swim during our time on the last island. The islands are so beautiful and untouched by too many tourists. The ship is also smooth as it sails which is good as I get sea sick.
Bring a light jacket as it can get cool while sailing. Also eat a big breakfast as the lunch was very small and I was starving. This is the only reason why I take off a star from my rating.
This was a lovely trip that is really worth doing. The islands are really beautiful and the guides very knowledgeable. The lunch was also really good. We very much recommend this trip to others.
Lovely trip. First stop could be longer otherwise no real value going there. Entertainment and food was really good. Had a good trip overall.
This trip was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and the food a music on bord the ship were good.
A great day out; restful and fun with stops at three very pretty small islands. Included on board was a grilled fish lunch with a basic salad, washed down with nothing less than a chilled red wine (no choice of a cultured white vino I'm afraid, unless you paid extra for it at the bar). The music was supplied by two very gifted Croation musicians who also sang quite well. The staff and crew were friendly and helpful.
Only negative was the imbalance of the time spent on the island stops; about a half hour on the first two and then a very drawn out stop of more than three hours on the last stop. There were some who took the opportunity to swim at a very good beach, which was a good half an hour walk away. Although it was very hot on the day, the sea air gave a bit of cooling on board and the middle section of the sailing ship had a canvas shade cover which was an absolute necessity under the boiling sun. All in all, the outing was excellent value for money, a good day out, and is highly recommended as an excursion from Dubrovnik
