Now this is the kind of tour I love. Just 5 or 6 others in a small van as we drove from place to place in this interesting town. The driver/tour guide was most informative and personable. I really felt like this was a private tour for just my wife and I, and if you were able to ask her she would agree. In fact she still references this tour when discussing our trip to NZ.i
Very pleased with overall tour driver was well informed and we visited a few places where larger vechicles would not have access to.
Wellworth and value for money
Excellent way to explore the town when there is limited time. Driver was helpful and informative.
We had a wonderful experience. One we found out who the local representative was, everything else smoothly. Will consider Viator for future excursions.
A really enjoyable experience - good commentary by friendly driver .
Since we have been to Dunedin several times we have already seen a lot. We found this tour very relaxing, the driver was most helpful and definitely all we were looking for in an afternoon tour.
The scenery along the Otago Peninsula was spectacular. Our tour guide was fantastic, he took us to this beach, and located a sea lion who was by chance taking a nap on the sandy beach so that we could have a closer look at it.
The tour and views that we saw on this tour were really worth it. The only downside of tour was they used a small bus (we have been on mini buses before and managed), it would not have been so bad had the arm on the side of chair would lift up to give extra room, it was fixed and we had to squeeze two cuddly people sitting in the chair it was very uncomfortable. It kind of spoilt what would have been a great trip.
This was ok, nice views and driver but I booked this to see the seals, as the photo suggests, but we we didn't go any where near the seal beaches. We were told the seals were "on the other side, another tour". A few of us were not impressed
Chris gave us a fantastic tour of Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula, His knowledge and love of the native birdlife was educational and inspiring. Chris went out of his way to show us the peninsula highlights even though the rain and mist obscured high up views, It was nice to see the area through the eyes of a local who treated us like friends. Picked us up and got us back to our ship right on time.
