Our driver provided an excellent comentary all three days. He was extremely patient and never lost his sense of humour. I left a very small camera bag with 2MB chip of photos and a camera battery in the van. One phone call and they overnighted it to our next location in the Lake District - thanks a billion bytes!

The tour was an excellent mix of activities. The tour guide was knowledgeable about all the sites we saw. The tour would have been great, but he made it over the top. He was also spontaneous and provided a couple of extra stops. The small size of the group was another plus.

Small group allowed for frequent short stops & easy access to otherwise unavailable spots. Friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable escort. Good accommodations. Excellent scenery.

This tour was a wonderful way to see the Scottish countryside and the many sights. The tour was small enough to be able to stop and see interesting things that were not listed on the brochure and not feel rushed at anytime. Our driver and guide did an outstanding job as he related the history prior to our stops and also kept us entertained with stories about the country and area. We also chose the B&B option and were satisfied with the accommodations. Would highly recommend this tour to others.

This trip was simply amazing! We had a great group and a FANTASTIC tour guide. The scenery and history that lies in the Highlands is certainly something for Scotland to boost her sense of pride. My husband and I loved hearing tales of legends and history throughout the entire trip. The waterfalls, rolling hills, and old castles were sights we will cherish in our memories. In Portree, we enjoyed fabulous hospitality, and wonderful camaraderie was shared by the entire group. The Scottish music was a bonus. Many thanks for this unforgettable trip!

Very enjoyable and informative tour. Enjoyed the countryside and places visited. Only complaint may be that the accommodation at the bed and breakfast in Skye was too far away from town.

We absolutely loved the three day tour to the Isle of Skye! The hotel in Portree was a unique and pleasant place, and our tour guide was one of a kind. She made the tour and trip a very unique experience and we believe that the tour group should feel very lucky to have her on their staff. Her knowledge of history and genealogy seemed to have no limits. The best thing about the tour was Karen's unique and natural story telling abilities; nothing seem scripted or rehearsed. This whole package was a real gem!

Our tour guide was awesome! He knew all the best places to go and was very friendly. I was a bit leery of taking a tour in a minivan, but the van was a very nice Mercedes. It was much nicer than a large bus since we were able to reach places in the rural highlands that were inaccessible by a large tour bus. I would highly recommend this trip. It is worth every penny!

I am really interested in 'geography travel' seeing the land, as much as seeing historical sights. This trip gave us the chance to see virtually all of Skye, and much of the area between Skye and Edinburgh. The scenery was absolutely fantastic.
The tour was as described. Everything was on time, and the guide was knowledgeable. He gave full commentary, including the historical significance of the places we visited. The van was full, and the passengers were very congenial. The seatbelts and seats were not as comfortable as a large bus, but better for the actual terrain. The town of Portree was interesting, and it was easy to find good dinners and lunches, particularly the "Well Plaid" restaurant.
Excellent tour of the beautiful highlands. Our tour guide was easily the best tour guide we've ever had.
