Very interesting tour! My guide Bob was wonderful and very personable and informative. Rosslyn Chapel was absolutely stunning and had so much to look at. Very easy to lose track of time. The tour operator is a wonderful company and I'm glad I booked all of my tours with them. It was a great experience.
We really enjoyed this trip. Our guide (Davie-boy to his friends) was informative, organized, professional, and very amusing. His commentary on the history of the Borders area added a great deal to the experience, and he readily responded to our group's questions and comments. The scenery was stunningly beautiful, the stops well timed, and Roslyn Chapel is a 'must-see'.
The small Rabbies tour group was the perfect size for this trip. Our guide was full of information, stories and was a lot of fun. They should rename the tour though, as it really has nothing to do with the DaVinci Code.
This was amazing and our guide David was out of this world! He was entertaining and so so helpful! He took us back to the cruise ship when we missed the last transfer!!! How special is that. Thank you Dave again!!!! We really got a feel for the Scottish history because of Dave.. Go Dave I am your biggest fan!
Really enjoyed Roslyn chapel and our guide Dave was very good. He was informative and a lot of fun. The scenery of the border area was beautiful. Perhaps a little too much time in Melrose but the tour was great overall and well worth doing.
Our guide was pete he is awesome. And we enjoyed it very much. I strongly recommend this tour :)
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The positives for us was the small group, plenty of time to visit the sites, and the fact that Da Vinci Code was a minimal part of the tour. We were more interested in visiting Rosslyn Chapel for its historical significance than its inclusion in "that fictional book" and in seeing some of the Borders country. Our driver/guide was interesting and informative. Well done!
Loved the tour, loved the guide David. He was very informative, figured he must have been a history major with all the information that he shared. Tour bus was very comfortable and clean. Staff at Rabbis were very professional. Thank you for making our trip perfect.
Our driver "Eric" was excellent. We saw beautiful countryside, stopped at the William Wallace statue, had lunch in Melrose and then went to the Rosslyn chapel. I liked the smaller bus (16 passenger).
This was very impressive tour. Loved Melrose Abbey and the story of Robert the Bruce's heart!! Dave was a terrific tour guide.
THis was a great tour. Lots of amazing scenery and ruins, plus Scottish history and lunch in a cute village. We bought food from the grocery store and had a picnic on the Melrose Abbey grounds.
Tabbies was wonderful. Our guide was from the Boarderlands and really made the trip.
The driver was a gem. He knew tons about almost anything you asked. His knowledge and ability to describe Scottish history is a national treasure. He included a small town in the tour for lunch (Melrose), which was an absolute gem. We loved it!! The chapel was interesting, but the lecturer didn't discuss several items tourists might find interesting, such as the connection to the Templars. She did provide several other interesting stories. You can't take photos in the chapel because the trust doesn't want you to. That was disappointing. We learned a ton about Scottish border history.
