It was good, but it was a little too fast.

This was a most enjoyable trip, well worth the money. I would highly recommend the hop on hop off tour to others.

Though our hotel was so local to everything, and we ended up walking to many of our destinations, we used the tour as a way to get some interesting tidbits about the city and to get our bearings. It was nice to be able to sit back and get a nice view of the things around us without worrying about driving.

The hop on hop off bus tour was the first thing I did upon arriving in Edinburgh. It provided a great overview of the city and helped me decide which sites I wanted to go back to and spend more time.

The guide was absolutely brilliant with all his quirky remarks! Brilliant way to see the beautiful city and even better when combined with the Edinburgh pass!

The bus broke down a couple of times but other than that, it was informative.

This was an excellent trip - we were treated very well by the staff and tour guides. I would say that the guides knew their information, but the microphone on the upper deck was not loud enough for those sitting toward the rear. Otherwise, it covered so much of the area that we would not have seen without taking the tour.

I had paid for this tour but when I got there it turned out there were two other possible tours. I was able to pay an extra two pound to have access to both tour companies' bus routes. Really, it would have been just as simple to turn up and pay for this on the spot.

The bus stopped several times and allowed people to get on and pay for admission at that point. The commentary continued, so the things we saw and the voice over did not match up. I have taken this tour before and was very disappointed this time as this was my nine year old grandson's first trip to Scotland.

It was fun, but nothing earth-shattering.

Driver took off with a jerk before we could sit up top and I was thrown back and hit my tail bone on the railing. It was very painful and caused me trouble the rest of my trip. They also passed us when were waiting to be picked up, even though we in the exact same spot they had dropped us off at. We had to walk quite a way, since it was the last bus of the day. Worse hop-on hop-off bus experience I've ever had.

Bad day - two buses broke down - one bus had an accident. We lost way too much time to take the entire trip and enjoy the sights. Otherwise - OK
