Really enjoyable tour. Guide gets right into character and its great value and well worth doing. Recommended.

There was a team of us and we made a night of it. Having a meal, going for a few drinks and then the walk. It was good, we then had a few more drinks before heading back to Glasgow.

Not really that scary; it was rather funny instead, so not that worth it.

Not sure how much of the information was true or created for theatrical atmosphere. We expected more underground walking. The graveyard was disappointing as we expected to be walking around to be shown resting places of interesting historical people. Not much atmosphere or thrills. Sorry.

Great tour guide, but too many people for any atmosphere. Not very scary. Need to limit numbers!

Interesting places and histories.

I didn't find it scary at all. Smaller groups would be better and also getting members of the crowd involved.

The tour guide was first class, but the only problem was that there were 36 people on the tour & this led to crowding when we went underground, and the ones at the back were straining to hear the stories that were being told. If the numbers were pegged at 10 to 15, it would lead to a more intimate & spooky tour.

The guide was very good, but I felt the stories were not very interesting or memorable.

The guide was fine. I would have preferred more historical facts and perhaps more locations.

While she was interesting, the guide, who was an excellent actress, could have gone into more detail regarding the history of Edinburgh.

The leader was very dramatic he could have left the city speak for itself. I felt the tour gave us very little factual information about Edinburgh.

This is the first trip that I've booked over the last couple of years with Viator that was a let down and would not recommend. If the tour had actually had a Scottish guide that may have redeemed it but, our American guide could not even pronounce Edinburgh correctly and his attempts to add a ghostly air to the tour failed miserably. We were frogged marched round the streets, quite an achievement at festival time and went down into the vaults beneath the city. Here we were treated to some atrocious story telling which did not improve as we wound our way round the city to the cemetery. If you're looking for a ghost tour of the city don't pick this one go or go to the dungeons as we heard this is good.

Although I understand the importance and significance of local tour guides, my husband and I had great difficulty understanding ours. He kept forgetting his 'lines' and having to re-cap. Fellow 'ghost hunters' looked as bemused and bored. It was boring! I had heard from friends that this tour or one like it was fun, scary and not to be missed whilst visiting Edinburgh, we wish we'd had an early night!

I had looked forward to doing one of these tours for a while, but I must say I was very disappointed as it was just a wander through a fairly normal part of Edinburgh, with the exception of the vaults. I must say we found it quite boring to be honest.
