Dave is terrific. He knows his history and is a good story teller. Only thing I'd add is a little more about natural history and geology, but I realize the latter might not appeal to the average tourist.
Great trip, even in the rain! Beautiful scenery and lovely to sit back and not have to drive or navigate, and hear about the history and sights. We didn't see Nessie, but enjoyed the boat ride also.
Absolutely fantastic. The tour group, Rabbie's, was amazing and our tour guide had to be the best on the planet. We were able to see so many of the major places in Scotland, but we never felt either rushed or bored. Everything was perfect - if you plan on going to Scotland at all, use this tour!!
Very informative and interesting, appropriate breaks and will do another in the near future
The tour was wonderful. Our guide Martin was lovely and very informative and funny telling lots of little stories about the Scottish. We stopped at lovely places with plenty of time to look and shop. The only problem was we did not spot Nessie but we did see a Scottish bagpiper which was fun. I would recommend the tour for a great day while staying in Edinburgh
A long trip but we were blessed with sunny weather and an amazing tour guide, Alistair. His enthusiasm, passion and knowledge were mesmerising and infectious! He was also a great mimic and comedian too. Views of lochs and mountains were superb! Absolutely loved the tour and the gingery guide!!
Had the best time. Alan our guide kept us entertained his story's were amazing we loved it. Awesome scenery just a shame we didn't get to do boat on loch. Perhaps you should include that in your pricing or at least give the option 5 stars ....
Great day out. Driver was excellent. Saw some lovely country and plenty of stops for some great photos.
An experience of a lifetime! The scenery is amazing. Such a long day but so worth it! Keith our guide was just the right mix of telling stories and history and being funny and playing music. So clear that he loves his country.
An interesting episode, someone had decided that they didn't like their original seat and had taken our seat after the first break of the day and refused to budge. Keith handled it with respect to everyone, I was impressed with his diplomacy.
You have the option of taking the boat on Loch Ness to "see the monster", we chose to just stay in the town and walk around, eat lunch. I'm glad we did.
This is our second Viator tour, did Stonehenge a few years back. They are top notch, you are in good hands. One thing I definitely noticed was this bus was smaller than the Stonehenge bus, felt more cramped, viewing was a bit more challenging. In spite of that, I would highly recommend this tour.
What a day! Great in everyway! Thank you!!! The small towns, Loch Ness and Glencoe - my favorite, stellar day!
It was a long day, but so worth it. John our driver was great. He was a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Scotland. The scenery in the north is just unbelievable. We would recommend this tour to anyone.
Good driver and tour guide (mr norman) maybe a bit earlier go and a bit late come back will make it more perfect.. thanks..
