Very cool and Sue was very entertaining This is a great one to take the first day you r there gives you some insight into what you are looking at
Lots of fun with our guide, Roger, who gave us some interesting backstory.
Excellant tour and great to see under Edinburgh too
Really enjoyed this tour. We learned lots of interesting facts about Edinburgh. Only wished that our guide was Scottish so we could hear the accent.
Very intersesting ...allows you to see places you would not normally find.....intersting look into the court house too.
This was a very good tour and I particularly liked that we had the ability to see Parliament House, which generally would not have been accessible. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but as my particular interest was in the origin of the closes and a tour of them, I had somehow expected them to be covered in greater detail. This is not a criticism, just a suggestion as they are quite fascinating in and of themselves. Very much liked everything, though and the information about the development of the New Town was good.
excellent guide - very informative, you would not have wandered arround the areas they took you by yourself, and if you did you would not realise the significance of the areas
This is a nice little walk with lots of facts about the Royal Mile. Our guide answered questions and offered tidbits about Edinburgh. The group was not too large, and we moved along the street at a nice pace. Our guide also provided tips on historic places we should visit.
Very informative tour guide. She included things that would keep my nine year old grandson interested. He retained a lot of what she told us.
This was an average tour with lots of walking downhill and then up all the way to the top. Would opt to do castle separately next time as we were tired and could have used a break. We crossed paths with more engaging guide from a competing tour group which sounded more interesting.
Although the tour was somewhat informative I found it to be on a high school level of information. I would have preferred more history of the castle inhabitants over a dissertation of the Nasties Also a little more information about the small doorways and alley ways.
It wasn't what we expected and was alittle boring. People were nice and informative. Just not what I was expecting.
It was pouring rain for our entire tour. Tour guide was very entertaining, however it was very uncomfortable for everyone walking around soaking wet. Do this tour on a sunny day!
This walking tour was just so-so. The weather was not helping, it was very cold and wet. I booked three tours during our three days in Edinburgh and this one we could have done without.
It was a good guide tour. We got to learn more about the city history.
