The castle and the loch were beautiful. However, the guide was very removed from all the tourists. He was basically a bus driver. I even made an effort to ask him questions, and he simply and shortly answered my questions and moved on. Also, the entrance to the castle was not included, which was unexpected. The trip was not worth the cost. Go to Stirling and Loch Lomond by yourself.

The only problem with this trip was that there wasn't enough time at Stirling Castle. We simply had a quick guided tour by castle staff, which was 40 minutes, and we were actually late getting back to the bus. The scenery was gorgeous and our guide was knowledgeable. I particularly enjoyed all the information given regarding William Wallace and Robert the Bruce.
