This is a must! He met us at the airport arrival area, helped us fill out our paperwork, retrieved our luggage and whisked us through customs there was a separate, short line for those who had private arrivals. The car was a very modern van with air conditioning and seatbelts which are a rarity with the regular taxis of Cairo. After traveling 19 hours, this was awesome. At the hotel, he assisted us in checking in, made sure they gave us a room in a nice quiet area of the hotel and verified the information for the rest of our tours.

Even though it was our dream, my daughter and I were understandably nervous about traveling in Cairo. When I called the tour local company the night before arrival to confirm, they gave us the name and cell phone number of our expeditor so that we could contact him. He met us within yards of deplaning. He was a very professional young gentleman. His English was perfect, and he was welcoming and reassuring, immediately putting us at ease! He waltzed us right through the visa purchase and foreign document preparation and presentation, and customs. We were in our van leaving the airport while other passengers on our flight still waited in the first line! Our van was roomy, new and well equipped and air-conditioned. The driver informed us that he was at our disposal to escort us anywhere we would like to go during our 3 day visit. He delivered us directly to our guide for our scheduled tour. Later he called our guide's cell phone, asking to speak with me. He asked if we were comfortable with our guide, and if we were enjoying our tour. He called our hotel that evening to make sure we were still comfortable and felt secure. He said that he was taking another client to the airport, and for the next hour and a half he would be out and about, so if we had a question or concern, not to fear we would be bothering him if we wanted to call and ask for his help or advise. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT CONSIDER flying into Cairo without this service. It's worth twice the price!

Viator representative was there at my arrival at 1AM. His English and communication was extremely good and under his guidance the immigration process he walked me to the place where I had to buy my entry visa and the customs were both smooth - done in less than 10 minutes. Also, he and the driver did not have the exact location of my hostel, as I was staying at a not well known place, but he was wise enough to ask for directions downtown which made it easier. Afterwards, he helped me with my luggage up to the hostel and I'm glad he came along, since the doors were locked and he spoke to the guard explaining the situation. In short, if you're arriving late, this is well worth and it is extremely fairly priced compared to taking a cab by yourself I know having flown in from Luxor the 2nd time around a few days later at 11AM and negotiated prices with the cabs which saved me nothing, about 1-2 bucks.

I would always recommend getting an airport transfer into Cairo with Viator. The guide was so professional and helped us with our visa, luggage and any questions we had. Absolutely brilliant. Don't go to Cairo without one!

Private transfer is the only way to go in Cairo. They truly help you navigate a fairly chaotic airport.

If you want a peace of mind - don't even think twice about it. Taxi drivers will rip you off. Plus their black and white taxi's have no AC, windows are rolled down due to heat in summer and the exhaust fumes is not what I want after flying for 17 hours. I only got it one way from the airport. On the return to the airport it cost a little less but it's definitely worth getting for arriving rather than departing.

Our driver was very helpful and made us feel welcome in Cairo. He got our visas for us and whisked us out to the waiting air conditioned car. I cannot recommend this service enough.

This was by far the best way to safely get from Cairo airport to your hotel. Our guide met us at the airport and was very easy to spot. He then helped us through customs and to buy a visa. The crowds at the airport were mad, but having our guide to help us through was worth every cent. A must on a trip to Cairo.

Excellent service. Our flight was two hours late, and the provider was still waiting for us when we walked into the airport.
