Absolutely loved it

Wow what a neat looking open air theatre. Dress warm during winter months viewing. You are outside when touring the actual theatre. Great guides too. The shop was fun! Bought a mask. The hot mull wine was a nice welcome drink coming in from the cold. Very friendly people. The extra exhibits although few, were good. Stay long enough to watch them show what it takes for a women to get dressed. All the different elements are demonstrated. You can walk from the London Eye to numerous museums sites, and to the Globe theatre and back. Nice long walk along river bank. Entertainment along the way and food stops.

Absolutely loved it

Excellent tour guide and I really felt like I was in a theater from Shakespeare's time.

Definitely worth doing

The theatre is located on the south bank of the Thames, adjacent to the new Tate Modern art museum. Access it by crossing the Millennium Bridge from Blackfriars. It's a beautiful beginning to a very interesting tour. The exhibition is excellent, with a good combination of displays that cater to visitors of all ages. The tour of the theatre is equally good just make sure that a play isn't starting soon or else the tour might be cut short.

It was OK, but could have been better

I thought the size of the group could have been smaller. It was very difficult to hear what the guide was saying if you were at the back. The guide seemed quite knowledgeable but one had to hear him to make that assessment with some confidence.
