Wonderful - a great way to see ancient Rome. I loved it. The main thing is that this is a WALKING tour, so people needed to understand that and come prepared. If you were prepared, it was wonderful.

Guide was very well spoken and very knowledgeable. I learned more on this tour than I would have doing it on my own and reading a guidebook. The tour left from exactly the point designated, and his ID sign read exactly what the booking confirmation said it would.

This was a great tour. Our guide was an archeologist who had actually participated in digs at the Forum. He had a great deal of knowledge and imparted it to us very well. Again, it is nice to avoid the long lines!

It was hot, and a long walk according to some tour members, but it was OK with me as I am so used to it, even though it was during Ramadhan, which means fasting time. The tour guide gave good information. The walking gave me a good stretch after a long 12 hour flight from Malaysia. At the whole, loved it, and it will surely enable me to take some friends around on our own if there happens to be another trip to Rome.

Fantastic tour, and the guide could not have been better. He explained everything clearly and was patient with the whole group. He answered many questions and was very helpful. The heat was 30 degrees Celsius, and the guide ensured that we all had opportunity to purchase drinks during the tour. I would thoroughly recommend this Viator tour to anyone. It was recommended to me through a friend.

We really enjoyed this tour, however, we recommend you wear some extremely comfortable walking shoes because this walking tour entails a lot of walking on cobble streets. If we had to do it all over again, we would take the same tour again, but we would opt for the motor coach tour instead because we were travelling with a senior citizen.

Great way to see some of the major sights in one go. Clear joining instructions and the guide was prompt starting the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and informative. My husband and I really enjoyed the afternoon. The tour finished at the Colosseum, which was great as we could spend as much time there as we wished. This tour does involve a fair amount of walking but we managed it easily, but do take water with you.
