Both the tours guides were wonderful. We had such a brilliant afternoon, both with the stunning scenery and the interesting and informative tour of the castle winery. The family history was fascinating!

We had a great time on this wine tour. This was one of our favorite things we did while traveling around Italy. We would recommend this to everybody!

We learned a lot about Italian wines and had a lot of fun in the process. We enjoyed the beautiful countryside ride in a relaxing air conditioned coach.

Even in the sideways rain, it was a perfect, beautiful time. The guides were very organized, and the bus driver was fantastic at handling the curvy, one-way roads in the big bus. The castle winery was beautiful and very welcoming. We'd definitely do this one again!

It was more than a tour. It was an experience! From start to finish, the trip was wonderful. We enjoyed a very comfortable bus ride with an excellent guide traveling through the picturesque Tuscan countryside. We were taken to the old Pazzi family castello for the wine tasting tour. The charming current owner's cousin regaled us with juicy tales of conspiracy, murder and intrigue that went on in that very castello between rival families, the Pazzis and the Medicis. We were taken down into the cellars where many centuries earlier prisoners were once tied to rings in the ceilings. Now, in the vast cellars, great, red rimmed casks of extra virgin olive oil and fine chianti wines are stored. Our afternoon was complete when we were offered various wines and bruschetta and other goodies along with lessons in the art of fine wine and olive oil appreciation. We were then able to walk around the beautiful property and from the terrace admire the views of the mountains and valleys in the distance. Flowering bushes and climbing roses tumbled over every wall and fence all around us. We could have stayed forever drinking in the beauty of this lovely castle and grounds overlooking the beautiful, lush, Tuscan countryside.

I normally stay away from organised tours on coaches but we only had 3 days in Florence and wanted to get a taste of Tuscany, so it was this or nothing. And it was amazing, really good guide, very funny and an incredible story behind the castle. Lots of history and fun wine tasting too. Would definitely recommend.

The tour was excellent and the folks at the winery were wonderful! Good wine and the snack complimented the tasting. Great experience and would recommend. The bus was a little difficult to locate as there were several tours operating from the same location and many people milling about. I would suggest the buses be marked clearly with the tour to help be easily recognizable in the crowd.

This was a great side trip! The castle was beautiful and there was plenty of wine and food to go around. Afterwards, we stopped in Greve and had about 35 minutes to walk around the town. Great tour guide!
