Excellent. The tour guide Steve was excellent, very knowledgable and provided added insight about the camp. The tour was from the central train station in Munich, then a short bus ride to the camp. The only down side was agin the time element. Not enought time to spend on your own at the exhibits. Again, Steve made the tour very interesting and highly recommended.
While nobody could call the subject matter fun, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and comprehensive. The only thing I would change would be more individual time to tour at the end; the museum is fascinating and there wasn't enough time to see everything.
Absolutely worthwhile. The guide was very knowledgable and fluent in English.
This tour begins at the Munich Central Station with a short train to Dachau, and ends at the Munich Central Station. Our guide was a student of the Holocaust and consequently, included many interesting items not necessarily publicized. His knowledge of the Camp allowed for no questions to go unanswered, but yet he provided a vivid and colorful explanation of the events and the facility itself. This is definitely a recommended tour.
The guide we had was very knowledgeable and the tour was very well organized. Overall I was very pleased with this tour and especially our guide.
Our guide was extremely informative and the tour very moving. The overall organisation of thei trip was excellent and everything ran to time. It was easy to find the location of the office at the station. We would use this tour company again.
Very good and informative tour with a great guide. I cant remember his name now but was very informative and professional. I would recommend this tour to all as it is truly a lesson from history.
This tour was excellent in every way. The guide was personal, knowledgable, and affable. As an American living in Germany he spoke with no accept (obviously) and was easy for everyone to understand. The mechanics of the trip were well organized, perfectly syncronized, and allowed for thorough touring as well as a bit of free time in the shop at the end. This was my first trip with Viator but will not be my last! On a scale of 1-10, it was a 10. No points to quibble about at all.
This was well done and the tour guide was great. Guide Jeff Cox was very good and knew all the history very well
Well done.I was not looking forward to this, however our guide was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and was able to discuss such a tradgy in a historical, knowledgeable way, that I felt when leaving it was good that we did this tour. Oh dear.
Our small Group tour of Dachau was a very emotional experience. Our Guide did a great job telling us all about the history of Dachau. He presented in an unbiased manner but in such away as for us to feel our own emotions, he did not try to influence us by any form of extra added emotion and I for one thought this was well delivered.
Concise and compete. This was a great tour! Our guide was easy to understand and totally understood the facts of the camp and how they were impacted by the thinking of the time politically. Fast paced and very informative.
You will take a 10 minute train ride to the town of Dachau, then a city bus to the site. The tour was excellent - we had a great guide who was really passionate about the history of this concentration/work camp. The tour includes a very interesting movie. You return to Munich by 2:15 p.m. Worth the money!
