The only thing that I do not like is some buses are relatively old that's why their head phone system do not function properly.

The red route is great! The blue route was pretty good too, but my wife and I like the historic stuff more than the modern things. The best stop on the blue route is the stadium.

This tour gave me the opportunity of admiring the main places of interest in Madrid in a relative short space of time, otherwise I would not have had seen so much. "Absolutely I loved it!"

Loved it! Used it for transportation around the city and to get oriented. Unlike other big cities, I never had to wait for a seat and they came really often and were located everywhere important!

Excellent commentary of all the main sights to see. Easy to find the stops. My only criticism is that the girl taking the ticket money had no idea what I was showing her as I had booked online; if it wasn't for the "Madrid Vision" printed on the top, she would not have let me on.

I thought this was the best hop-on-hop-off service I have ever used, and I've been on them all over the world! It gave lots of information and it was good the way you could change lines between two completely different routes - the old and the new.

I did the two-day pass and loved the convenience of seeing the city overall and then using the pass to stop at all the sights I had seen on the first go round. I feel like I really got to know the city and saved a fortune on taxis. It was a relaxing and peaceful journey.

This is a great way to see Madrid. We used the tickets a lot over the two days.

This tour bus is great! The great thing about this tour is that you are not on their clock, you are on yours! We saw that almost every country we visited in Europe had this type of tour bus. It is great because when you get on you are given earphones, a map of the route, or in this case routes, you sit down you plug in your earphones, select a language and sit back and enjoy the view, especially from the open top part of the bus. The whole entire time you are taking in the sites from this double decker bus and learning about the city, the bus is making stops at every marked area. We had a day pass so we spent most of the morning on the two routes Madrid has, the Modern and the historical. There is no extra cost to jump on any of the two routes, just as long as you have your tickets with you to show prove you have paid. Once we had completed a route, we got off at the spot where we wanted to explore in more detail and later caught another bus to continue the route. The best part is that these buses are on the route paths all day long, so we also took advantage in getting on later on that evening and just loved touring Madrid at night.

The Hop On Hop Off tour in Madrid is well run and makes stops at all of the important monuments and historical sights. We bought a two day pass and were afforded enough time to visit the Royal Palace, the Prado, and the Royal Theatre and still had enough time to visit all of the other important sights. The included coupon book for eateries around town is nice too.
