We had never before been a part of a tour group and were somewhat hesitant to part with the money it requires!! After experiencing your tour we now wish that we had done so in London and Paris on previous trips. Our guide was personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for making this one of the highlights of our trip to Italy.

Great tour guide. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the Colosseum, Forum, etc., and know the history about them. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

As a history buff, I was absolutely thrilled to actually walk through the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine. With so many people visiting Rome, and the Colosseum in particular, it was great to "skip the line" and maximize the time I had to see and do other things while in Rome. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and added value to my experience by explaining to us exactly what we we were looking at, and she used a book illustrating what everything likely looked now as compared to what it likely looked like during the Roman Empire. The tour had a good pace to it, and there were no complaints from anyone in our group, which was a manageable size. A fair bit of walking but manageable. Audio headsets made it easy to hear what our tour guide was saying at all times. You see a great deal in three hours. Highly recommended.

The tour was informative, and the guide was very knowledgeable. It was definitely worth the investment for us as were travelling with kids. There were minor snags with the meeting point at the beginning and the missing earphones as the person responsible did not show up. However, the guide's knowledge more than made up for the gaps. During July, it was very hot, so carry a good cap or hat and cold water.

We had a small group and a wonderful guide who was an archaeologist. She was well worth the price alone! Don't waste your valuable time standing in line.

The tour was absolutely worthwhile. We had only two days in Rome, and did the Vatican tour and the Ancient Rome and Colosseum Walking Tour. Walking by yourself, you will never gain the wealth of information, insight, and little bits of interesting facts that the English speaking tour leaders give you. So glad we missed the long queue of people standing in the scorching sun waiting to buy tickets! The tour includes three hours of walking in the sun, so take good shoes and sun screen! Our tour leader made the history come alive for us! It was clear that he has a wealth of knowledge and a lot of enthusiasm to share this knowledge. When visiting these sites, it is so difficult to fathom that you are standing on steps and paths and in buildings of which some have been built B.C. This is a must for any visitor to Rome!

We only had 2 full days in Roma, as we were told by our guide to call it, and booked the 3-hour Colosseum tour for the first morning. In 3 hours we saw the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, and the Forum, and heard the history behind it from a very knowledgeable guide. As the tour says, beat the queue, and this must have saved us an hour at least.

The trip was just great, and we spent just the right amount of time visiting each area. The guide allowed plenty of time to take pictures.
