• By pre-booking this tour it enables you to skip the long lines (which can take up to two hours!) to enter the Vatican Museums. Please note, all visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point. Please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security.
• The climb to the top of the dome at St Peter's Basilica is not part of this tour, however customers are encouraged to climb on their own, after the tour concludes.
• Strollers and pram must be left at the front entrance to the museum and collect before leaving.
• If you are interested in booking this tour on a Wednesday (morning tour only), there is the possibility that you will be unable to include St. Peter's Basilica and St. Peter's Square in your itinerary. This is due to the weekly Papal Audience during which access to St. Peter's Basilica could be blocked off from the Museums. As an alternative you will be offered an extended itinerary within the Vatican Museums, which still includes the Sistine Chapel and Raphael's Rooms. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you would prefer a tour with St. Peter's Basilica and Square guaranteed to be included, please do not select Wednesday as your travel date.


Do you cater to wheelchair users? Do you or the Vatican provide wheelchairs?
Yes, we do. Your very own guide will lead you through alternate routes to navigate the corridors of the Vatican Museums. IF you can ascend short staircases then you will able to see the entire collection. Simply discuss with your guide on the day to suit your needs. If you do decide to book a private tour and need a wheelchair the Vatican Museums provide chairs free of charge in the main lobby. You can easily pick one up after entrance with your guide, but before starting your tour. Please let us know at time of booking to alert the guide.
