Fantastic guide, Angela was amusing and very knowledgable. Tour ran smoothly and headphones made it easy to hear all the information. Made our holiday, can't recommend enough!
Our guide, David, was spectacular. He showed us some "hidden" gems within the Vatican like the Pope's apartments, which took us away from the crowds and allowed us to experience something that the other people in other tours missed. The murals painted by Raphael were amazing, and more enjoyable than many other parts of the tour. David was knowledgeable, entertaining, and charming. It was a great tour, a great trip, and well worth it.
Fantastic! Our guide was passionate and knowledgeable and made all of it that much more fascinating! Great stories behind everything and great history. Wear comfy shoes and take a drink, lots of walking but worth it. Fascinating art work and architecture!
This tour is very worth while. Our guide peter was extremely informative and open to questions. His knowledge was astounding. The Vatican is amazing and the art present is mind blowing The line is massive even early in the morning. Do skip it.
Our guide David was excellent. He was very likeable and full of information, not only the obvious but also the obscure which made the visit much more interesting. Definitely 10 out of 10.
This was the only tour we took while on our two week backpacking adventure of Italy. It was fantastic! Our tour guide was so knowledgable and I felt that it was worth every penny we spent!
It is the only the way to go-with a tour!! Saw the EXTREMELY long lines and good knowing our tour came with "skipping the line". Our guide Sara was excellent! She was very passionate about her job and Rome. We learned so much! She always had our attention and connected very well with all of us. It was a load off our shoulders to know we didnt have to do this alone. We felt taken cared of and would recommend this tour, this company and our guide Sara!
We found this tour to be well worth the money. The queues are massive and you could spend years wandering around the Vatican and still not know half the stuff that there is to know! When you have only an afternoon free for a tour of this amazing place then is the way to do it. The guides are knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. You get to skip the massive queues, you have a walking encyclopaedia in your ear talking you round the amazing rooms and you don't feel rushed or that your missing anything important.
TIPS: have plenty of water with you as there are hundreds of people moving through the place and it gets extremely warm and stuffy in certain rooms as not every room has AC. Also you can wear shorts and t-shirt (highly recommended due to the heat!) but bring/buy from a street seller a shall/scarf to tie round your waist to cover your knees and one to cover shoulders as it is a requirement before going in to the Sistine chapel/St Peters and you may be refused entry if you do not conform.
The tour was amazing. Everyone in the group loved our guide. She was vey knowledgeable, interesting and spoke English well. The tour was well worth the money and the only way to see the Vatican.
This tour was wonderful. Our guide was very knowledgable and helped us to see and understand things that we would have otherwise missed. Skipping the queues was a must - I have never seen such enormous lines and I was so grateful that we were able to go straight through - worth every dollar for this
Igor met us promptly and quickly ushered us inside. Thank goodness we had prebooked as the line up involved a 3 hour wait! Our guides knowledge and passion was transplanted to us over the next few hours. It would have taken me years to learn the information he so easily shared with our group.
