It was great to 'skip the line'. Our guide David was excellent. You can't go to Rome without visiting the Vatican. Also, would recommend the morning tour before the crowd builds up too much.

We have very happy with the tour , content , organisational skills of our guide Davide and his knowledge combined with excellent spence of humour! Queues are horrendous tour saves time and allows your see much more!

I would highly recommend booking this tour. It was so simple, took the stress out of queing (which there was a massive queue) and then not knowing where to go once we got in. We met at 9.45 right outside the Vatician for the tour starting at 10. We were given hearing devices and the guide spoke with a microphone so you could hear him no matter where he was which was fantastic. Much better than trying to stay at the front of the group to hear him. They was only 20 people so not a large group to stay together. Our tour guide was so knowledgable and really took pride in helping us get the best out of our experience. He went into allot of detail about the sistine chapel before we went it, which meant we understood everything and made it not only more interesting but enjoyable. Hoenstly a MUST DO in Rome. It was well worth the price of the tour. Our English speaking guide was so knowledgeable and took so much time to answer questions. Our guide's name was David and we would rate him a 10 . We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Vatican.

Our tour guide was Federica with Dark Rome Tours and she was great. She was very knowledgeable, easy to understand, and gave a great explanation of everything we saw. I really liked her explanation of the paintings throughout the museum, and the history she portrayed. She also had a good sense of humour.

Awesome tour. Valeria was an excellent guide. She was so educated on the Museums and the Chapel. My only suggestion to anyone would be to book it any other day but Wednesday as St. Peter's Basilica was closed for our tour. Having said that, we did walk over after the tour when it was open and it only took about 20 minutes to get in. Breath taking! Don't miss it!

We had been told this tour was a must, and after we took it, we agree! Not only was our guide excellent (Illaria?), but it would have taken us all day just to get through the crowds. Bypassing the lines was invaluable. The guide information was so much more than we could have gotten on our own. I can't imagine doing the Vatican for the first time without this tour. Well worth the money!

Excellent tour and excellent guide. Helped us see what is key as there is so much to see. Explanations given by our guide were excellent and helpful to understand the various pictures we have seen. Good to be able to skip the line-up as well.

An outstanding tour. Our guide, Francesca, was excellent and was able to give an insight into the history of the Vatican and made the tour very informative and enjoyable. Skip the line is essential as the queues are huge at the Vatican - you could waste more than 2 hours in lines. Highly recommend!!
