What You Can Expect
While in Fiji, spend a spectacular day in paradise by sailing to the Mamanuca Islands, a chain of 20 volcanic islands lying to the west of Nadi. Start your day cruise from Mana Island aboard a classic 83-foot (25-meter) wooden schooner, which starred in the 1960s television series Adventures of the Seaspray, filmed on location. Round-trip transfers from surrounding islands to Mana by catamaran or speedboat are included.
After you set sail, your professional captain and crew drop anchor in warm, crystal-clear waters, where you can swim and snorkel with provided gear. Morning and afternoon tea are served on board along with a barbecue lunch and unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks.
Visit the uninhabited island of Modriki, which you may recognize from the film Castaway, starring Tom Hanks. Spend your free time here basking in the sun, strolling the long stretch of white-sand shoreline or snorkeling in the turquoise lagoons. Before returning to your starting point, you’ll be welcomed by local villagers on Yanuya Island, where you can take part in a traditional kava ceremony for a glimpse at Fijian life.
Please note: As a mark of respect, hats are not to be worn in the village, as it is customary that only the chief of the village is allowed to wear a hat. Women are encouraged to dress modestly and cover their knees when visiting villages.
We had a fabulos day out! The crew are very friendly and so helpful, the food was excellent! Plenty of refreshments too. I really enjoyed the visit to the fijian village. This was not a 'put on front' but the genuine village.
Beautiful day on the water! And such a lovely crew! Thanks Joe for answering all our questions!! :)
Fantastic trip first on the fast Cat then transferred over to the Sea Spray. We sailed than uninhibited island and enjoyed a sensational experience snorkelling with the tropical fish. An excellent lunch was then served to us back on board, sail home magical with crew singing for us.
Every aspect of the tour went well. From the moment we arrived to the Port till the end, the crew made sure we were taken care of. They were very cordial, fun, attentive and entertaining. I believe everybody should give good tips at the end. They need it to help with "after storm" ravages.
Great crew, fantastic food, awesome beaches and snorkeling!
Worth every penny!
It was great. I would say to all. Go and enjoy the day. The staff on board were friendly and easy to get along with. Lunch was yummy
One of the best days in my life. The cruise was wonderful, shame there was no wind but that is beyond the scope of the crew. Everyone was really friendly and the crew knew my name by the time I departed. Mondriki Island is a paradise, try and bring an waterproof camera if you can as there are so many species of fish happily swimming around as you snorkel. Even though the waves are small there is a lot of power behind them and it can be difficult to get up if you sit down in the water. The village is so wonderful to visit and the children are so adorable. The only negative I have to say is that we were rushed into the cars, coach and catamaran. Viator make the tour booking so easy

This is one of the best trips we did while in Fiji! Mondriki is a beautiful island and the Seaspray crew is the BEST!

Great trip. Only 9 guests and 7 crew so VERY well looked after. Excellent food and limitless beer/wine/soft drinks. Crew entertained us well with guitar and singing. Comfortable, on time connectionsboth to and from Denarau and for the South Sea Cruises catamaran.
Mondriki snorkelling was superb and really exclusive; the current was a little strong for us being weaker swimmers. The BBQ lunch was excellent. Visit to the island and the Kava ceremony were interesting. The children and islanders were delightful. Have Fiji cash to buy a few things from their stalls. Another long and tiring but successful trip with Viator. Thanks!
ps confirming your trip by fone can be inconvenient and costly without a local cell fone.
Had the most brilliant day - beautiful weather, food and wonderful crew!
