Fantastic daylong trip, can be a bit tiring, but a fantastic experience with many great photo opportunities.

We had a great relaxing day. The views were great. The rapids were slow but gave a chance to take in the surroundings and talk to the guys who took us out. The bbq lunch was yummy.

It was beautiful scenery and very peaceful. But we thought we were booking on a white-water rafting tour. However we got about 40 minutes of rafting, along not even grade 1 rapids, before stopping for lunch. Then we got a further 20 minutes in the raft with similar rapids. A motorised boat then took us back down the river through much better rapids than those we had rafted. A good day out, but don't expect an adventurous rafting day.

I can recommend this trip, but I have few reservations. First the product picture definitely is not from this trip! Views were very interesting, but completely different. Secondly please do not leave your backpacks! We left our backpacks in the truck, but someone fumbled in our things! And the office did not give us thorough information about what should we take for this trip and what was exactly the plan.

The tour guides were ok, however there is mining activity in the river and as a result the water levels are significantly lower than they used to be making the rapids ridiculously slow and a lot of paddling required. When we were invited to jump in and just swim down the rapids we found the water was so shallow that we were smashing into rocks came out badly cut and bruised. We actually found we enjoyed the bus trip back more entertaining.
