From checking in to stepping off, the entire cruise was the highlight of our 3 weeks in New Zealand. Everything about the whole process from arrival to departure and all that in vetween was well executed by tne staff botn on land and on the sea.
We lucked out with two beautiful days on Doubtful Sound and a beautiful Sunset on the Tasman Sea. No jumping dolphins along side The Navigator but who needs dolphins when the buffet spreads both dinner and breakfast were amazing. Since we only spent 3 short days in South Island we will plan a second trip down the road to see more of the beauty that makes up SI.
The best tour ever.great. crew, gorgeous scenery, delicious meals, fun swimming and kayaking.
The weather wasn't so good but the experience was fantastic. I shared my experience with friends and some have put it on the "to do" list. The staff were great and I don't have anything negative I could say about the experience. Well done!
So we'll organised as well as being very relaxing. The staff were very considerate, informative and friendly.
A truly brillant experience. We went to Milford Sound the day before and had glorious sun shine, on Doubtful Sound we had had all 4 seasons in one day, Sun, Hail, Rain and even Snow. An amazing place to visit. The staff on the boat were excellent and very informative. We were looked after really well and the food was amazing. Great trip. Would highly recommend it. Bring the camera !!!!
Doubtful Sound Cruise was superb. Very wet but scenery was still great. Very professional staff who were very helpful, excellent food, very good sleeping accommodation.
What an amazing experience. A must do in this country. Great scenery, company, food and crew. Thanks to all.
Thank you very much for a wonderful trip, from the moment the staff greeted us until they waved us goodbye, everything was fabulous. The sights, the wild life, Carol's knowledge of the area was amazing, the food and staff all made this 1 day get away a truly amazing experience. It's a part of NZ I hadn't seen before, but this overnight trip of Doubtful Sound showcased what this area is all about - stunning scenery and just sheer peacefulness.
Absolutely great, staff very friendly and helpful and couldn't do more. The boat was very well appointed and confortable. The scenery, well that can't be described - a must do trip if you get the chance and very good discount through Viator.
This is a beautiful and relaxing experience. You get to see so many waterfalls and gorgeous views that you'll be sick of them by the second day :) The food is good too and the crew provides great insights into Fiord's history.
Real Journeys is the best!
Everything perfect, staffs were so wonderful :)
We will go back and visit them again and again.
Well organised with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Excellent cabin facilities and wonderful food. Views were stunning and fantastic commentary by the enthusiastic naturalist. Highly recommended.
The tour was excellent. We cannot complain. The trip from our hotel, to the bus and the transfers to the boats are perfectly organized. The accommodation was good and the food was superb and the people who looked after us are amazing. Nothing to complain at all. The highlight of it all is the breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding mountains; it made us feel like we were in the presence of God. We are hoping that this unique natural beauty would last forever for our children and our children's children to enjoy. Thank you very much for looking after us and for sharing us the beauty of this wonderful place.
