Well organised with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Excellent cabin facilities and wonderful food. Views were stunning and fantastic commentary by the enthusiastic naturalist. Highly recommended.

The tour was excellent. We cannot complain. The trip from our hotel, to the bus and the transfers to the boats are perfectly organized. The accommodation was good and the food was superb and the people who looked after us are amazing. Nothing to complain at all. The highlight of it all is the breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding mountains; it made us feel like we were in the presence of God. We are hoping that this unique natural beauty would last forever for our children and our children's children to enjoy. Thank you very much for looking after us and for sharing us the beauty of this wonderful place.

This was one of the most fantastic trips I have ever done. I did not want to get off the boat. Everything was fabulous, crew, boat, food and Doubtful Sound was so beautiful.

Fantastic place. Stunning nature. It was raining most of the time. But it is expected
in this ecological location. Absolutely great! The cabin was comfortable. Food was
good. Take a spray as sunflyes will eat you. Definitely recomend.

My trip on the Doubtful Sound was amazing words cannot describe the beauty of New Zealand's South Island especially this overnight trip Everything was so well organised from getting picked up at the hotel I do lots of travelling round the world and I can say this was the best ever, ALLSTAFF from the great coach drivers who were so informative to the boat people and the amazing staff on the boat The cabins were immaculate and so warm to walk into and the food was to die for I was very lucky with the weather and Jason was fantastic with his knowlege of the outdoors really enjoying the slide show and great info to go with it After the intense heat and humidity of Darwin it was a beautifull experience I have raved about this trip to everyone in Darwin and they will put it on their bucket list of things to do Please forward my thanks to the owners of the tour and tell them ALLSTAFF loved working for their company Many thanks Rosemary Wood

The trip was magical! As we came over the Lindis Pass and had our first view of Doubtful Sound the sun came out and glistened on the fresh snow. The whole experience on the cruise was wonderful - from the food, the crew and of course the scenery. We saw Dolphins playing in the dawn light, seals sunning themselves on the rocks and cheeky penguins entertaining us with their antics. The waterfalls were too numerous to count. The birdlife was abundant and Jason educated us on the Flora, sealife and geology of the area. Everybody on our cruise became one big, happy and delighted family. We will definitely be doing this cruise again on our next trip to New Zealand. ( Number 6)

Whilst we very much enjoyed our trip we were displeased with the service from and price charged by Viator. Viator took around a week to confirm our place on the cruise and we were ultimately advised that there were no double cabins left but that we could have a quad cabin to ourselves with shared toilet etc., facilities. We were happy to accept this but were surprised to find we had been overcharged. We expected to pay NZ$1,312 (circa £740) for the two of us for a twin cabin with private facilities and on being put into an inferior cabin with shared facilities would have expected to have been charged the rate for that cabin being two times NZ$436 i.e. NZ$972 (circa £550). However we received a credit back of of £35.00 and consider that we have been short changed by Viator to the tune of £175. S A Silcock.
