Cinque Terre is definitely worth seeing. Our tour guild was excellent. This was a nice "full day" trip. Boat ride was fun.
Great tour, trains a wonderful way to travel to this part of Italy. Had lots of time in each of the 5 little towns that were filled with many charming shops and beautiful scenery. A very relaxing tour.

Great tour, the only thing was that we just visited 3 of the 5 cities the tour advertised. They said there was a weather warning with a beautiful and sunny day! I recommend it.
Great experience. Unfortunately, it rained, but we made the most of it and saw some great parts of Italy!
Too bad it rained! Would have been a 10 but it down poured all day long. Very beautiful villages along the coast. Very picturesque.
Best tour during my visit to Italy. Well run/organized. Tour guide was fantastic. Sights were outstanding. Only wish we could have spent a little more time in 3 of the 4 places we stopped. The 3 hours on the beach was a little long but overall definately recommend this trip. Well worth it. We opted out of the included lunch because of seafood allergies but found a cute outside cafe overlooking the water at the end of the pier where there was a variety of items to choose from.
An absolutely gorgeous trip, jammed packed, but if you only have a day, a great way to see this protected site of 5 villages. Bus, train and ferry, an ideal combination of travel. Irene and Eleanora were informative tour guides. Even had a chance to swim in the Ligurean Sea! We took the lunch and it was generous and delicious.
Amazing! Best money spent while in florence! My wife and I loved every second of it and our tour guide was terrific!
Great way to go through 4 of the cities. In retrospect, probably could have figured out the trains and travel, but glad we did it. It was very crowded even in September but after Rome, Venice and Florence we expected it. Our guide was great, very down to earth and understood everything, nothing rattled her and I'd definitely go on another tour she lead. She dealt with a few cranky people in our group very well and I have to say she had way more patience than I would have had.
The tour was a nice overview of each of the little cities we went to and gave me a sense of where I'd stay for a day or two next time. Solid money value.
Great Tour. Very Informative. Recommended! Just beware if attending during summer holidays as public trains are caught and they can be crowded. Especially if the Sea is deemed to rough for the boat ride, the train is then substituted for that.
Fantastic!! More than we expected! Truly a gem of Italy and a must for all travellers!
Our tour guide Julio (hope I didn't spell his name wrong) was superb. He's one of the most attentive and responsible tour guides we have met.
It was a fine day but the sea was a bit rough. We were told there is no boat ride in the morning. To our surprise, after our visit in Riomaggiore, Julio brought us good news that the boat operator may resume the boat service in half an hour. When we arrived the gather point for the boat, yet the boat operator changed their mind again and said the boat will not be resumed. All of us were very disappointed as the boat ride was obviously a highlight of the trip.
Julio was so kind to negotiate with the boat operator for us. We could feel that he really hoped to present the best of Cinque Terre to his guests to make it a perfect tour. At the end, we had spent around an hour extra in Riomaggiore in order to join the boat ride, however, it's all worth it as the ride was great and you can look at the whole Cinque Terre coastline like what you see in postcards. It was because of this incident that the tour ended up overrun for an hour, but Julio didn't mind to work OT at all and gave us enough time in each village as originally scheduled. We were so glad that we had Julio as our tour guide. Without him we must have left Riomaggiore by train and missed the scenic boat ride.
Agree with some previous comments that not too much information was given on the area or history. However, in such scenic spot, I think to experience it with your senses is the best way to get to know the place. Also, the villages were all so small that we could easily scroll along ourselves without being guided and meet up with the group at the scheduled time and place. Lunch was fine with extremely efficient service which saved us time to explore Monterosso on our own. Scenery was picturesque as expected, among the best in Italy. Highly recommend this tour if you have limited time for the destination and wish you meet Julio. He is just amazing.
