Totally changed my view of Chianti, which I always insisted I didn't like -- the Classico and the Reserva desgniations were a revelation. And I finally truly understood what it means to find the perfect pairing of food and wine: Chianti is perfect with the hearty Tuscan fare.
Meet delightful "fellow travelers" at the wonderfully informal tasting, and enjoyed the view of the Tuscan countryside from our comfy bus with charming tour guide. Don't miss it! Oh, and we got to see the utterly charming and picturesque town of Greve as well -- another highlight.

Awesome! Above and beyond what we expected! Would recommend this tour to anyone. From the bus ride there, to the tour of the cellars and grounds, to the actual tasting everything and everyone was incredible!

We had a lovely time on the Chianti wine tasting trip. The rain had stopped and cleared to a sunny afternoon. The tour of the winery was interesting. The best part was the wine tasting. We gathered in a nice room and enjoyed various wines, cheeses and meats. We had an opportunity to purchase items, but there was absolutely no pressure. We then traveled to the town of Chianti where we had time to shop or taste more wines. The guide was a delight. It was a great experience to travel out of the city and enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Trip to the castle winery was great. Touring a castle that was still lived in was unique. The wine tasting was fun.

This was, hands down, our favorite excursion during our trip to Italy. Our tour guide at the winery, whose name completely escapes me, was Wonderful! She was so funny and knowledgable; we thoroughly enjoyed that part of the trip. If you have the opportunity to take this short trip from Florence, you should.

This was one of the best afternoons I ever spent in Italy, The castle and the surrounding were amazing, the hospitality was magnificent. I told my wife to leave me there and forget me. ( She didn't)
