The tour guide at the castle was outstanding. We learned quite a bit, and the tasting was wonderful. The drive through the countryside there and back was beautiful, and the guide who spoke along the way was a local and knew a lot of history about the area. Great afternoon, and back in time for supper!

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved the trip and would recommend it to any of our friends. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable, the views were amazing, and it was a treat to be able to visit a small village in Tuscany on the way back to Florence. A must do!

Nice trip. We could have skipped the stop at the little village. The church was not open. The winery was interesting and informative. Tasted 3 wines. The ride was beautiful.

It was amazing, spectacular views. The wine and olive oil were ridiculously good also. I just wish I could get that olive oil in the States.

I don't think we knew how great this tour was until we took tours that were run by other companies. In most other tours, they took 3 languages on one bus and said everything 3 times - once in each language. Because other tour groups have to say everything 3 times, they aren't very thorough. On the Chianti tour, everyone spoke English, and the guides were all very friendly and thorough. It was a quick and pleasant drive to the Chianti region. The castle was very nice, and we got a good tour of it and the grounds. We tasted 3 red wines and a dessert wine. There may not have been many to choose from, but they were all good, and you got to pour your own. They also served some great cheeses, breads, and meats. We didn't even need dinner after leaving here. It was a nice jaunt out of the city, and a well orchestrated tour.

Fantastic tour. Tour guides were amazing and friendly. The only complaint I have is that the group got separated and lost walking to the tour bus. The group met a block away from where the tour bus was parked to leave. It would have been easier to meet by the bus instead of having to meet at one spot and then keep the entire group together on a very busy street in Florence to get to the bus. Minor problem though. It was fantastic and I would do it again.

The Chianti wine-tasting is a definite must do! It was so easy to sign up and then find group to meet up with before departure. The tour is very informative, and I loved getting to know the background behind one of Italy's finest wines! The price is very reasonable for everything that you get out of it. I got to meet the owner-producer of the wine, and she was very friendly. I ended up purchasing some wine after we had our tasting. It was that good and surprisingly inexpensive for its quality.

I spent 4 days in Florence with my eleven year old son. The Chianti trip was a lovely way to have a break from all the walking, art and architecture we were experiencing. Our guide on the bus was delightful, but what really made the trip for us was the guide at the castle we visited. His passion for wine, olive oil, and the Pozzi history behind the castle made the trip unforgettable. My son enjoyed the guide's talks as much as I did. The wine we tasted was excellent.

The tour leader's English was very very hard to understand. However, the person in charge at the Chianti winery is a very experienced woman, and overall the trip is great.
