This was one of the highlights of the trip. I would recommend this for anybody travelling to Florence who would like a tour of the Tuscany Hills. The guide was English speaking and was very friendly. The wine tasting tour was interesting and even though it was thundering and pouring with rain outside, it didn't matter. Old towns to visit, lots of history and beauty. The fab four course meal was welcome after an afternoon of fun!
This tour was such fun. We were 2 Brits in a group of 35 North Americans and everyone was great. The wine tasting and snack was excellent. The short stay visits to villages in the countryside were marvellous too. The meal, company and scenery was superb. We had excellent weather too which made it just perfect. Have used Viator before and will again.
This was very enjoyable. The guide along with the owner of the vineyard were very informative.
We had a really great time on this tour. The tour was well organized and executed. The Tour guides were very knowledgeable and informative. The Chianti district toured was incredible, the winery and dinner also fantastic.

What an incredible afternoon this was! My husband and I were on our honeymoon and found it to be the most perfect tour. Wine and snackies, old castles, villages with even more wine opportunities? What more could we ask for!! The dinner was absolutely superb with wine on top of that! Will never forget this tour.
The tour guide was wonderful and made us feel welcome. We weren't rushed and had plenty of time to relax and savor the setting as well as the wine and food. This enabled us to enjoy new friends we met on the tour. I appreciate hearing about the opportunities to purchase the wine - but without a hard sell. Guess what? I bought the wine because it sold itself!!
The fact that it was harvest season made it even better.
I recommend this tour!
Very nice trip with nice people!
Toscana area had fatastic view and the experience in the winery was so exciting!
Also, the guide was fun!
Very satisfying trip it was!
Highlight of the trip, amazing value for money and the visits to the additional villages took all the stresses away. The Tuscan region is breathtaking and the visit to Il Palagio and it's winery was fantastic fun.
Was not sure how we would enjoy this trip to the wine country and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. We travelled with a great group (half were Canadians!!!) and the views of the Tusan country side were beautiful. The wine tasting tour was great and our host was engaging. I recommend doing the dinner and ordering the steak which was absolutely delicious!
The tour was so great! Considering it was a "half day" tour it was 8 hours! Totally worth the money! Our guide was so fantastic and the scenery is breathtaking! And don't forget the delicious wine and dinner!
This was a great tour. The guide was very friendly and informative. You definitely get your money's worth between the wine tastings, snack and dinner and you get to see the magnificent Tuscany countryside!
Just the right amount of time for the tour. Our guide was great and seeing the countryside was wonderful! I'd recommend it to anyone going to Florence.
This tour was my favorite part of our entire trip to Europe! The tour guide was excellent... she gave us some history and background on the region while we were on the bus. I think it was about 30 minutes to the first stop (the winery) where we learned about the wine making process and then sampled some wines along with some delicious appetizer pairings. They had a shop at the winery but did not pressure you to buy anything. The prices were reasonable as well. Then we went on to explore two more tiny towns in Tuscany. It was nice to see these quaint small towns bc they were so much different than the larger cities we visited on our trip. The rolling hills in Tuscany were beautiful even in early April when nothing was growing! Then we ended the night at a restaurant in Sienna where the food was excellent. We even made some friends on the tour that we ended up spending a day with in Rome. I highly recommend this tour.. it was well worth it!
