It rained, but the trip was very enjoyable. The bus broke down, but the guide handled the problem and we were in a new bus within 45 minutes.

This was an excellent tour. It was great to get out into the beautiful Tuscan countryside and villages. The castle tour and wine tasting was terrific. Highly recommended.

The Chianti region is absolutely gorgeous! This tour took us to a castle that was beautiful. We were expecting a few small taste glasses of wine and a piece of cheese, however you are seated at fully set tables, and each table receives four full bottles of wine by the end. Each wine is accompanied with a complimentary food item of which you receive enough for eight people to have plenty of. They served the best bruschetta made with extra virgin olive oil, which they make there as well. You can purchase the oil and wine when finished. Afterwards, you are taken to a little city called Greve where you are allowed to explore the square with local shops. It was amazing!

A wonderful afternoon spent in the Tuscan countryside at a marvelous castle with outstanding wine. Brought some Chianti home and it tastes as wonderful here as there.

This was such a delightful way to spend the afternoon. The countryside was fantastic and the castle was fascinating. After tours of the wine and olive oil cellars and the fourteenthth century castle, we got to taste four different wines with fairly well paired local food: bruschetta, meat, cheese, and biscotti. I, however, was rather disappointed that it was a huge forty person bus group that was going to the castle for the tasting. Another excellent thing, though, was that at the end we were able to see the 2007 harvest being processed direct from the field and wander through the grape-laden vines in the fields.

I loved the wine tasting; the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The location was beautiful, and the tour was a great value for money. The trip after the wine tasting to another village was pleasant, although slightly unnecessary.

Great wine tour! Even though the group was big, the trip was very well organized. We loved the tour of the castle and cellar. The wine and snacks were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this excursion!

This was the highlight of our vacation. We enjoyed the information given by the guide on the wine and olive oil. We all sat at large tables and tasted four wines and enjoyed snacks of meat and cheese. Afterward we were given the opportunity to buy wine and olive oil. The company will ship purchases, which is very nice. After that we were given a half hour or so to shop in Greve. This is a fantastic tour, and we would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in Tuscany.
