This day trip to Cinque Terre was the highlight of our trip!
The scenery/views are spectacular and NOT to be missed - just do it!
Words just don't do it justice.
Oh my goodness...what a wonderful day tour. Seeing the Italian riviera and visiting all the villages so full of spectacular sites and hospitable people was phenomenal. Loved our tour guide on that day. He was hilarious and so knowledgable and helpful. Amazing!! Absolutely amazing!
There is no doubt about Cinque Terre....it's a magnificient place to visit! Breath taking views in each town and extremely resilient people. We highly recommend this tour, but be prepared to a full day, fast pace with LOTS of people in each location. It's just too bad we could not stay a little longer in two of the four towns. We would like to go back but spend a few days and enjoy the people and the scenery a little longer. Caroline, Martin and Marianne
We had a great day out and our guide was exceptional. Thank you.
Absolutely amazing place and the boat ride was fantastic. The guide was totally knowledgeable how to get around.myes the trains were crowded its summer in Italy and they have nothing to do with crowded trains. We made immoral through and he did a great job keeping us together. There's plenty of time especially for a swim and lunch . We got our own lunch so can't comment on that part. There's lads of places to,eat
what a memorable experience. Viator took care of every single detail. all one has to do is sit back, releax and enjoy the experience. not only was the tourguide amazing, she was knowledgeable and entertaining. this is a trip that is worth doing - over and over again.
Great day, was just a taste of Cinque Terre but well worth the time.
The tour was too short to see some beautiful villages in this area. Very recommend for you that visiting Italy
Our tour guide Stephano was wonderful and friendly. There are many stairs, steps and inclines on this so people not able to do that walking should not book this tour. Might suggest they book the many different tours an hour apart. Way too many people trying to get on their public trains to reach the next village.
This tour was brilliant our tour guide was fantastic and he knew lots about the towns. There was a lot of free time to explore on your own and the sea was gorgeous! I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting that area!
The day trip to Cinque Terre was fantastic. It is such a beautiful part of Italy and it was lovely the way it was done as a combination of train and boat with an optional section to hike as well. The tour guide was interesting and very good with how he kept the group together, and gave clear instructions on what to do if we were separated for any reason.
A trip well worth doing.
We met at the meeting point met our tour guide who was very informative
This trip is a nice way to see Italy
Lots of leisurely walking involved not suitable for people with any walking difficulty and trains I do not recommend you take young children in pushchairs as not suitable for this a lot is packed into one day and I really think not for children under 10!
We had a family with two small children on the day tour and it impacted on all others apart from this small hitch
Do not hesitate to book views and villages you visit a must see
Julio was an excellent guide. He was jolly and clear with his directions. He made sure that we were very clear as what time and where to meet etc. We were very happy with our day tour with transport from Florence to Cinq Terre. The major highlight was the boat ride to view the 5 villages from the water. Highly recommend this tour especially with an excellent guide who appeared to enjoy what he was doing taking a group of English speaking tourists to see UNESCO heritage site.
So glad we made this trip! Cinque Terre is beautiful. Each city is unique and we really enjoyed getting to know them. Our guide was knowledgable and a master at keeping a large group traveling on buses, trains, boats and foot all together. It's a long day though and we almost passed on visiting Vernazza so we could just rest, but we rallied and were happy we did. It ended up being our favorite.
Absolutely amazing experience!! I would recommend this trip to anyone.
Our tour guide was great! She kept us informed well in advance of what we were going to do. The itinerary was well thought out, with the most time designated for the lovely beach area. The 3 course seafood lunch was a bargain, and totally delicious!
This was the most amazing day. Our guide was fantastic, we were so lucky that the weather was perfect so we could use the ferry. The food was delicious, the swim in the sea was amazing. Worth every cent. And would definitely recommend it.
This tour was a once-in-a lifetime experience! The journey through the different fishing towns on the coast offered a lot of breath-taking views and opportunities for exploring and shopping. One of the benefits of this tour was that there was a lot of free time to roam, without the constraints of a guided tour. The only recommendation I have is to get there on a week day, instead of weekends or during heavy tourism months, because cruise ships drop off hundreds of people at once, which makes navigation through the towns difficult. If you happen to be traveling from a town outside of Florence, be mindful of train schedules, because the tour bus did not wait for us when our train made us late to the meeting point at 7 AM. The trip from Florence to Cinque Terre is long, and there are hardly any opportunities to stop for restroom breaks, so keep this in mind before you board the bus. The only suggestion for this tour that I have is to provide an itinerary with tentative train stop locations and times. With the heavy traffic, it was easy to lose the tour guide and confuse train boarding times and stops. If this is not provided to you on the trip there, I would highly recommend asking the tour guide to give you the times and locations, in case you decide to stay longer or lose your way. All in all, this was a great experience!
