This tour was brilliant our tour guide was fantastic and he knew lots about the towns. There was a lot of free time to explore on your own and the sea was gorgeous! I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting that area!
The day trip to Cinque Terre was fantastic. It is such a beautiful part of Italy and it was lovely the way it was done as a combination of train and boat with an optional section to hike as well. The tour guide was interesting and very good with how he kept the group together, and gave clear instructions on what to do if we were separated for any reason.
A trip well worth doing.
We met at the meeting point met our tour guide who was very informative
This trip is a nice way to see Italy
Lots of leisurely walking involved not suitable for people with any walking difficulty and trains I do not recommend you take young children in pushchairs as not suitable for this a lot is packed into one day and I really think not for children under 10!
We had a family with two small children on the day tour and it impacted on all others apart from this small hitch
Do not hesitate to book views and villages you visit a must see
Julio was an excellent guide. He was jolly and clear with his directions. He made sure that we were very clear as what time and where to meet etc. We were very happy with our day tour with transport from Florence to Cinq Terre. The major highlight was the boat ride to view the 5 villages from the water. Highly recommend this tour especially with an excellent guide who appeared to enjoy what he was doing taking a group of English speaking tourists to see UNESCO heritage site.
So glad we made this trip! Cinque Terre is beautiful. Each city is unique and we really enjoyed getting to know them. Our guide was knowledgable and a master at keeping a large group traveling on buses, trains, boats and foot all together. It's a long day though and we almost passed on visiting Vernazza so we could just rest, but we rallied and were happy we did. It ended up being our favorite.
Absolutely amazing experience!! I would recommend this trip to anyone.
Our tour guide was great! She kept us informed well in advance of what we were going to do. The itinerary was well thought out, with the most time designated for the lovely beach area. The 3 course seafood lunch was a bargain, and totally delicious!
This was the most amazing day. Our guide was fantastic, we were so lucky that the weather was perfect so we could use the ferry. The food was delicious, the swim in the sea was amazing. Worth every cent. And would definitely recommend it.
This tour was a once-in-a lifetime experience! The journey through the different fishing towns on the coast offered a lot of breath-taking views and opportunities for exploring and shopping. One of the benefits of this tour was that there was a lot of free time to roam, without the constraints of a guided tour. The only recommendation I have is to get there on a week day, instead of weekends or during heavy tourism months, because cruise ships drop off hundreds of people at once, which makes navigation through the towns difficult. If you happen to be traveling from a town outside of Florence, be mindful of train schedules, because the tour bus did not wait for us when our train made us late to the meeting point at 7 AM. The trip from Florence to Cinque Terre is long, and there are hardly any opportunities to stop for restroom breaks, so keep this in mind before you board the bus. The only suggestion for this tour that I have is to provide an itinerary with tentative train stop locations and times. With the heavy traffic, it was easy to lose the tour guide and confuse train boarding times and stops. If this is not provided to you on the trip there, I would highly recommend asking the tour guide to give you the times and locations, in case you decide to stay longer or lose your way. All in all, this was a great experience!
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour it is a fabulous stretch of coast line and the tour allowed us to experience all but one of the five villages. A great experience with a great guide who was very knowledgeable and informative..
Would recommend to anyone visiting the region.
Great tour cinque Terre is beautiful worth going to see but it is a long day
The trip was very well planned. We had free time and each of the 4 towns and were able to go swimming in one of them. Our tour guide was very helpful and very nice during the trip.
Our guide was very knowledgeable. She really knew how to work around the crowds and the day we went the ferry was not operating so everyone was taking the train.
Our tour guide Julio was amazing! He did a really great job and even provided maps for us to know where we were going during our one day tour. We got to see 4 of the 5 villages and I believe we had enough time in each. Keep in mind that you are packing a lot into one day so the smaller villages we had 20 to 30 minutes but it was more than enough time. Everyone on our trip adapted to many of the changes that took place because of the Italy Bike Tour going through the area that day and I had a fantastic time! My dad that was 70 also really enjoyed the trip and they never felt rushed to keep up or exhausted from walking. Fantastic I would strongly recommend this tour if you only have one day!
Vraiment magnifique malgré la pluie
A ne rater sous aucun prétexte !!!
An amazing tour and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting this area of Italy. As usual with Viator there were no surprises and everything was well organized and the day was memorable.
Such a terrific way to do cinque terre in a day. Even though there were multiple trains and a boat the whole thing felt so easy, Julio was terrific - so organized, helpful and sweet - and he kept 60 people on track without anybody getting lost. I'd go on this tour again in a minute.
