Amazing!!! The views were incredible! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Florence! The lunch was ok, not my favorite, wished we had a little more time in some of the villages as it felt a bit rushed, but it was nice to have some time both guided and unguided to explore on our own. The hike itself was only somewhat difficult in spots where the steps were kinda slippery, but other than that very do-able. I enjoyed it very much and would love to do another walkabout tour!
A lot of walking , but we were prepared
the 2 young guides looked after us all very well
Lunch was great
Gloria and Lavinia were beyond amazing the best guides I've ever had! My boyfriend and I spent an entire month traveling Europe and this day trip was the highlight of our month. The views were breathtaking, the hike was fun, the swim felt great, gelato was to die for, and we learned a lot! Our guides shared so many interesting facts throughout the entire day. The trip was worth every penny euro! Gloria told us to try the pan frita in one of the towns, and it was delish!
Plan on a pretty serious walk, a great guide, awesome views, and seeing the villages from a local point of view. Absolutely wonderful!
Fabian was a fantastic tour guide. Fun, energetic and extremely efficient! We love the tour, there was just the right about of hiking, independence and time to explore the villages.
We had a fabulous time on our Cinque Terre Hiking trip. Julian and Fabian were our guides and we thought both of them did a stellar job. They were enthusiastic, helpful, and clear. We would highly recommend this tour knowing that it is a long and tiring day. We enjoyed beautiful weather so we were very fortunate.
Great hike on the cinque terre. Amazing view and it's worth the hike. Loved this tour among all the packages i signed up!
Wonderful trip, well organized and our tour guide Lavinia was very sweet. We really enjoyed the sights and scenery and the chance to have time to explore independently. Our lunch was great and the view outstanding. As we don't smoke it would be nice if the restaurant was non smoking or had a separate smoking section. We did this tour in August, the peak tourist and temperature season so be prepared for crowd and the heat. It is a real hike which is why we signed up for it so be prepared you will have a work out. After the hike the boat trip back to the 1st village was a real treat as you could see the entire coastline that you have just traveled. Tip: If you are planning to swim and are shy, wear your suit as there wasn't anywhere private to change.
Great personnel, Johny and Julian made this day unforgettable, you guys rock.
A little strenous and recommend that you are accustomed to hiking steep and narrow trails

Holy ship. Where do I start. My tour guide was Freddy Frederique and he was the coolest most chill guide I've ever met. He's the kind of dude who the Dos Equis commercials are based on. He was so legit and had an intense amount of knowledge about the places we visited. But check this out. FROM THIS POINT ON NOTHING I SPEAK OF IS MEANT TO PUT FREDDY IN A NEGATIVE LIGHT. Let me explain why. 1st stop on the tour we check out the sights and sounds of town 1 and then head back to the train station only to find out the next train is cancelled. Freddy gets on the phone with headquarters and does an amazing job of keeping everyone calm. Then the next train after that is running late. The train after THAT one is jammed full of people and most of the people from our tour get on it except for Freddy, myself and some others from another tour guide's group. The train leaves without us and Freddy comes up with another plan. We jump on the next train which had tons of space but then the train skips the stop we were supposed to get off at. Freddy takes the lemons Italy throws at us and makes a strong Limoncino by taking us to a sweet lunch by the beach in the next town we stop at which includes a refreshing white wine. Essentially he got everyone white-girl-wasted and it was great. We hit almost every town on the tour except for one and Freddy gave us a more intimate tour since it was only 7 of us instead of the original 15. I had way more fun winging it with Freddy than I probably would have if I had crammed on that train like the rest of the Americans. To wrap this up I just gotta say that Freddy really held the trip together and made sure everyone was taken care of. He is the best guide I have EVER encountered and he made me feel right at home. Plus his Italian is on point. I highly recommend this tour and I suggest you beg to be part of Freddy's group. Tip him well people. It's well deserved.
Lavinia was the best tour guide we've ever had. Great ideas for places to eat and very flexible with the hiking pace of all participants. The tour was very well planned to maximize time in the towns. Would recommend to anyone.
Tour was excellent. Johnny and Molly great. Lunch was amazing. I would definitely recommend
Had a fantastic day at Cinque Terre with Freddy and Johnny from the tour company. Brilliant tour guides - learned a lot, explored one of the most beautiful costal regions in the world, and felt safe in their company. Would recommend it to anybody. A must see!
This was a fantastic trip and I would recommended it to anyone. The guides were great.
Fantastic day, well worth the money.Tour guides went above and beyond there line of duty, they were exceptional in every way.
Fantastic lunch in a beautiful location with fresh food.
Hike was majestic but must be fit to enjoy,or else your day is spoilt.
Would definitely recommend.
Well done to all concerned in making our day one not to forget.
This tour was a great way to see all five villages of Cinque Terre with all the logistics taken care of for you! Our guide Johnny was very informative and hilarious and was mindful of the whole group. It was very interesting to see the people who live there working on the terrace farms. The hike was moderately difficult for us average twenty-somethings, but everyone was given plenty of time to move at their own pace. There were lots of opportunities for pictures. I enjoyed talking with everyone in the tour group along the way, as there were people from all over the world. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence if you have the time!
Fabulous. It was well set up and tour guides were wonderful. We loved it!
This was the absolute BEST way to see Cinque Terre if you're only able to go for one day! We had a fantastic mixture of hiking and trains and boats. We were able to see all five towns, with ample time in each. We had an absolute blast, and our tour guides Molly and Raissa sp? were fantastic!
We HIGHLY recommend this tour!
This tour surpassed all expectations even despite everything conspiring against us bad weather, train and boat cancellations and delays. The tour organisers were fantastic, especially our guide Fabien.
If you dont have time to stay in Cinque Terre this tour will still give you an excellent experience of Cinque Terre and includes 2 of the nicest walks on the trail.
I can highly recommend this day trip.
this one has a bit of stair climbing, hiking up and stepping down. a few people, after the 382 steps going up to the 3rd town, opted out of the hike after lunch to take the train instead. yup, lots of walking and steps but the view is worth the effort. also the outfit, walkabout florence, is terrific! our guide fabian and molly formed a great team to take care of the whole bus. do this while your ankles and knees are still functional!
Beautiful. Our guides, Fabian and Molly were very good. Took very good care of us. We were given the option of taking the train to the next town to meet with the group if you didn't want to do the 4 1/2 mile hike to the next town. Our guide gave us instructions about getting the train and where to meet them. Lunch was ok if you liked octopus, mussels, squid, sardines, anchovies and calamari. Pesto on spaghetti. There were other options. Worth the money, we enjoyed every minute.
If you only have a day to visit Cinque Terre, then this tour is highly recommended.
A lot was covered in a day, and it was definitely physically challenging but so worth the achy feet and knees. Very well organized, though a bit hurried at times. Lunch was meh, but views are unbeatable.
