Everything about this trip was wonderful from the timeliness of our pick up by the driver to the short time it took to get to Cinque Terre. The towns were like picture postcard villages along the sea. We were fortunate to get to ride the ferry as it sounds like many people who take this tour do not. Our guide was very knowledgeable although he could have done a better job of letting us know how long we had in certain areas. Once we explained to him that all he had to do was tell us where to be and at what time, things went much smoother. We had plenty of time to take photos, get something to eat and do some shopping. All in all, a great day.

Loved the trip to Cinque Terre, don't miss out on seeing the coastal views of Italy, breathtaking! Important notes to planners. Very warm/humid in August, trip somewhat physically challenging for anyone with health issues and very high edge of cliff views if heights bother you, but the trip was awesome!

This was trip well worth taking. First, our tour guide was wonderful. The tour started on time and he explained all the sites along the way, happy to answer all questions. The villages were beautiful! The 'Lover's Walk' was at a nice pace, and we stopped along the way to take in the scenery and for pictures. The weather was favorable that day so we were able to take the boat ride. Driving along the mountainside was awesome! We had enough time in each village to see all the sites. Make time in your schedule to take this tour! Didn't want the day to end!

Four beautifully situated villages along a green rugged coast. It's a great way to get away from the tourist madness for a day. I also liked the tour in this small van where we could all talk with the driver and each other.

We didn't know what to expect from this tour, but were very happy we left the city to visit these cliff side villages. Getting the chance to take the boat and view the towns from the Mediterranean was wonderful. We had lunch at a restaurant that served excellent sea bass and pesto pasta, two things the area is noted for. We were very happy to be in a small van to navigate the winding roads and not a giant bus. Our tour guide was very helpful and even hooked us up with someone in Rome to take us around. And they arranged to have someone pick us up the next day to take us to the train station. We think you'll like this day as much as we did.

If you are planning a trip to Italy, do not miss this! We had the BEST tour guide. He knew his stuff and made excellent recommendations and when we misplaced our camera in his van, went totally out his way so that we could retrieve it. Five stars!

The tour was spectacular! We had a very small group, only two couples and our driver guide. He was extremely informative and very friendly. The towns were very beautiful and we had a wonderful time. Very highly recommended!

This was the best part of my trip to Italy. I have never been to a place more peaceful or more beautiful than Cinque Terre. I absolutely loved it.

What a fantastic day. Having a small bus is a must when visiting Cinque Terre, as they can get right into the towns, when the big buses cant. Our guide was unreal and very informative, plus, he was a great driver, especially considering the terrain he had to drive around. It was great booking through Viator, it saved so much time and effort and we got very good prices.

Excellent guide. The weather prevented the boat trip but the rail was also exciting. A tour well worth doing!

This tour was the highlight of my trip to Italy. There is no way that you would be able to see that much in one day on your own. It may seem expensive, but it is worth the price. The guide was great and everything went very smoothly. We weren't able to take the boat from Manarola to Vernazza because of the low tide, so we took the train instead. The boat can only run if the weather conditions are perfect. We had about two hours for lunch in Vernazza, and I would recommend the trofie al pesto, as pesto is one of the specialties of the Cinque Terre.

Great trip. Excellent guide. Cinque Terre is not to be missed. I was disappointed that there was no boat ride. Be prepared to walk, sometimes up hill. This is a great place for photographs. Good food in local restaurants. Highly recommended.

Good tour, but the drive in the van made me queasy with winding mountain roads.
