This was one of the highlights of our trip. Turned out to be only four of us, so the personal attention was wonderful. Great little wine bar that I would definitely go back to when in Florence again.

Me and my wife went on our honeymoon to Rome and Florence and this was definitely the best part of the trip. The man was very nice and explained a lot about the wines and cheeses as he took us on a tour through Tuscany by wine. He didn't think the amount of wines that we were supposed to get were enough to give a true sampling of Tuscany, so he gave us more. He also cut us some delicious meat. We would have gone there every night. The wine was wonderful, the service was better. If we go to Florence again, this will be on the top of our to-do list. The location was also very convenient, right outside of the Pitti Palace.

The cheese and wine tasting was absolutely amazing. The man who led the wine tasting was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. I got this tasting as a present for my family for Christmas, and everyone had a blast! I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about Tuscan wine.

Could not have been better! A really neat setting with an extremely knowledgeable Sommelier. The cheeses he combined with the wines were absolutely awesome! We are not red wine fans, however this tasting changed our minds know knowing the correct parings. We had a small enough group that the Sommelier also gave us a knowledge base for food parings with certain wines.

There were only two of us on this tour which was fantastic! The cheeses and jams were absolutely delicious and the wine was amazing. Our host was very welcoming and thorough in giving us all the details about each wine, where it came from, how it was made and the best food accompaniments. Overall, we had a great afternoon and it was a great experience, I would recommend it to anyone!

A fun thing to do. We learned a lot about wines, and by the end if the evening you are officially Italian!!!

A lovely setting with a good host. Would have enjoyed more wines but was exactly as described. Well worth a try.

My wife 29 and I 37 have done quite a lot of travelling this year, 12 countries so far. So we're now at the stage where we try to find something new to do on each trip. We used Viator to book the Segway tour for the morning and then this Cheese and Wine tasting experience for the late afternoon. My tour guide in the morning showed me on my map where the Wine Bar was and it was just my wife and I who had booked it. There we met a barman who was covering for another who normally entertains the clients. We can only speak about our barman, we thought he was very good and impressed us with what he knew. I certainly learned some new things and he was open to questions and competent at explaining himself. He was Swedish so his English was just fine. We ended up having quite a good laugh with him and got merry in the process. Its not the cheese, but more the wine that we went to experience, and that was exactly what we got. Its something we can tick off our list of things to do with a pleasing experience.

It took place in a very cute bar. The staff was lovely. We were the only people signed up for the event. The staff was attentive, no pressure to buy any wines. A pleasant way to spend an early evening.

We didn't really learn anything at all about wine, and our session was interrupted several times because we were only pushed into a small corner in the bar. Also, the "teacher" did not even talk to us about what we thought, smelled, tasted, etc. The wine was good, and the cheese and meat were delicious as well. But the tasting was terrible. Wouldn't recommend if you have no prior knowledge of wine or how to act at a wine tasting.

There could have been a lot more information about what we were drinking, how to taste wines - smells, tastes, what these wines would taste good with besides 3 small slices of cheese. There was not much interaction between us and the employees. We probably would have bought at least one of the wines, but it wasn't really encouraged by the staff.

A complete failure. Very disorganized. There was no real explanation of the wines and the person who did it left us to our own devices and did not speak English well enough. There was only four of us and another two people, very boring. Did not supply what they said they would.

The tasting did not include all the food it said it would. There was some cheese and some honey but that was it. The guide did not know very much about wine. Save your money, go for appetizers and drinks at a swanky bar instead.
