This is an excellent way to see Florence in a short time. It was very helpful.

We didn't have enough time in Florence to do both tours, but it was definitely worth doing to get your bearings of the place. I'd like to do it again.

The Hop-On Hop-Off bus idea is the perfect way to get an overview of the city. We took the tour first from beginning to end and then we used our pass to hop on and off and tour all of the sites that we wanted to see more of. I highly recommend this idea. We also had no problems with the voucher system set up through Viator.

I really liked the city sightseeing tour. I liked the schedule, and the double-decker bus allowed me to see the sights without obstruction. However, some of the audio panels in the bus did not work.

I recommend buying this online from Viator. You just go straight to the bus to board. It's easy.

It took me four hours to finish the tour and we visited the places I wanted to. It's really worth it.

In Florence, we often were not sure of pick-up location points. The audio tour could have had more information...was not always tied to where we were. I had thought it would be a live tour, not recorded.

Difficult to locate the beginning spot and obtain tickets. Directions need to be clearer and the signs are too small. If I were to recommend this I would have to caution people about our difficulty in locating the buses and the starting points. Too much time sitting while buses took breaks between routes.

This is an economical way to see the city and go up into the hillside. I used the Hop On, Hop Off Bus in Rome and Florence. In Florence the bus has 2 routes. The site says the bus runs till 11pm. Only ONE route runs till 11pm. For two nights we sat a bus stop waiting for it. TIP go early to get the map and times when you board the bus for the first time.

The sound at times did not work or had static - just hit or miss with that. This is strictly a headset tour. On the plus side, the stops were very convenient, and the bus service rep was very helpful with directions.

Seating is cramped, and some of the audio jacks did not work.
